About Us
At Near, we help top talent in Latin America find remote roles with US companies. Our mission is to create better lives by fostering a remote work culture that transcends borders.
About Our Client
Our client is a US-based company in the appliance industry that produces a daily industry podcast. Each episode is published across YouTube, podcast platforms, email newsletters, and LinkedIn, reaching professionals throughout the industry.
As their current content lead prepares for a leave of absence, they are looking for a Podcast Editor & Distribution Assistant to take over episode production and distribution, with the potential to stay on long term.
About the Role
We are looking for a part-time Podcast Editor & Distribution Assistant to take each episode from raw recording to scheduled release. You’ll edit around 6 episodes per week, create thumbnails, and schedule every episode across the company’s platforms using a documented step-by-step workflow, with AI-generated titles, descriptions, and tags provided as part of the process.
This is a temporary position (early December to late March) with real potential to become permanent, most likely part-time, depending on performance and the company’s marketing plans. You’ll start in early December to allow overlap and hands-on training with the current team member before she leaves.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, highly reliable editor who enjoys a repeatable routine and takes pride in getting every detail right. Since this role includes access to the company’s social media and platform logins, trustworthiness and discretion are essential.

Schedule LinkedIn posts in Metricool or send post materials to the hosts
Confirm that every episode is scheduled on all platforms ahead of its release date
What We’re Looking For
Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro (non-negotiable)
Experience with Adobe Media Encoder, or the ability to learn it quickly
Basic graphic design skills in Canva
Comfort uploading and scheduling content on YouTube and podcast hosting platforms
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow a written process step by step
Reliable time management so every episode goes out on time
A high level of trustworthiness and discretion when handling company accounts and logins
