Digital Media Specialist (Contract)
Remote (Latin America-based)
Compensation: $20 to $30 USD/hour
Part-time (20 hours/week to start, with potential to grow), overlap with US working hours [time zone to confirm], Contractor
Tech Stack: LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, Google Ads, Asana, AI tools for reporting and analysis
At Near, we connect top talent in Latin America with exciting remote opportunities at U.S.-based companies. Our mission is to create better lives by fostering a remote work culture that transcends borders.
Our client is a growth marketing company that fuses AI technology with strategic and creative expertise to deliver intelligent solutions for ambitious B2B leaders. Founded in 2016, they work as a global team with a strong focus on operational excellence and a simple philosophy: beat yesterday, every day.
We're looking for a Digital Media Specialist to own the day-to-day performance of a defined set of B2B campaigns. You'll report to the Digital Media Supervisor, who sets strategy, owns the client relationship, and approves the test roadmap and any changes above agreed thresholds. You'll run your campaigns end to end: setup, monitoring, optimization, testing, reporting, and reconciliation. You'll be expected to be productive on live campaigns in your first week. The engagement starts at 20 hours per week, with the potential to grow as the team takes on more clients.
Own the daily performance of your assigned accounts, including pacing, delivery, and results against KPIs.
Optimize bids, budgets, audiences, and creative rotation within the thresholds set by the Supervisor, log every change with its reason, and bring any larger change to the Supervisor with your recommendation and supporting data.
Build and launch campaigns in LinkedIn, Meta, and Google Ads from approved briefs, applying naming conventions and UTM standards and running the pre-launch QA checklist on every launch.
Propose and run A/B and multivariate tests across creative, landing pages, audiences, and bidding, each with a hypothesis and success measure, and report results with a clear recommendation.
Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on schedule, check all data against the source platforms, and write the analysis: what changed, why, and what you recommend.
Use AI tools for data pulls, summaries, anomaly detection, and first drafts, and verify everything they produce.
Check lead delivery against IOs for volume, quality, duplicates, and rejections on content syndication and ABM campaigns, and track partner and publisher performance. Support the monthly reconciliation of platform and publisher spend against budgets, IOs, and invoices, with Supervisor approval before anything is finalized.
Handle routine client requests such as status updates and data questions for your campaigns, and prepare report decks for Supervisor review.
Check ads against platform policy and client brand and legal requirements, keep Asana tasks current, and maintain handoff documentation so any campaign can be picked up by someone else.
Your Background:
5+ years managing paid media campaigns, with results you can describe from the optimization decisions you made.
Experience working on B2B or tech clients.
Expert-level, hands-on experience in LinkedIn, Meta Ads, and Google Ads.
Experience designing and running A/B tests and reading the results with sound judgment.
Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel or Google Sheets, and the ability to explain what the data means in plain language.
Experience communicating directly with clients or stakeholders.
Working experience with AI tools in a marketing workflow, and the judgment to verify what they produce.
Clear written communication, including short, useful status flags.
Available to overlap with US working hours [time zone to confirm].
Nice to Have:
Experience reconciling ad spend against budgets, IOs, or invoices.
Programmatic platforms (StackAdapt, DV360, or similar), including ABM tools such as 6sense.
Experience with attribution platforms and reporting tools.
Compensation: $20 to $30 USD/hour (final offer depending on experience and background)
Benefits: fully remote contract, starting at 20 hours/week with potential for more hours as the team grows.
