Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Near is a recruiting agency that connects U.S. companies with top remote talent across Latin America. We partner with fast-growing teams to find professionals who are a strong match in skills, experience and culture, and we support candidates through every step of the hiring process.
Our client is a venture-backed, AI-native U.S. company that builds secure AI infrastructure for schools and universities. Its platform provides personalized learning support grounded in course content, integrates with existing learning management systems, and is used by tens of thousands of students across more than 100 campuses. The company is moving from founder-led sales to a repeatable, team-based sales motion and is growing its sales team to reach ambitious revenue targets for next year.
We are looking for a Sales Development Representatives to join a growing SDR team and generate pipeline for the company's Account Executives. You will focus on individual colleges and universities and on private and independent high schools, a segment with one key decision-maker per school and shorter sales cycles. Your goal is to secure qualified, held meetings with principals, heads of school and IT directors, then hand them off to the Account Executives, who run the meetings and close the deals.
This is a phone-first role. You will spend much of your day on cold calls, supported by personalized email and LinkedIn outreach. The sales function is still being built, and a new Head of Sales joins soon to shape the playbook. You will help define how the company sells into a new market, and you will build AI-assisted workflows that increase your own output.
