At Near, we connect top talent in Latin America with exciting remote opportunities at U.S.-based companies. Our mission is to create better lives by fostering a remote work culture that transcends borders.
About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing, private equity-backed security services company in the US, with more than 7,000 employees. Through several acquisitions in recent years, it has built a full offering: armed and unarmed guarding, risk and preparedness training, security technology such as weapons detection and cameras, and a security operations center. The team is fully remote and moves at private equity speed, with a culture that is results-driven and open to using AI to work smarter.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Revenue Operations Manager to build the operational and analytical foundation of a growing sales organization. This is the company’s first RevOps hire. You’ll report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and work as a neutral partner to sales and marketing. Your job is to turn an inconsistently used Salesforce instance into a reliable source for pipeline management, forecasting and board-level reporting. This is a hands-on role: there will be no RevOps team to delegate to for at least the next 18 to 24 months, so you will build the dashboards, workflows and models yourself. It requires someone who is proactive and resourceful, and who delivers high-quality results when things are ambiguous.
You Will:
Own Salesforce as its business owner and day-to-day admin. Define account structures, opportunity stages, required fields and data standards, and clean up existing data.
Set consistent pipeline definitions and stage criteria. Lead weekly pipeline reporting and forecast reviews with sales leadership.
Build historical and probability-based forecasting models, and track pipeline coverage against growth targets by vertical, geography, seller and service line.
Create executive dashboards and weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, including board-level reporting for the CRO.
Give visibility into demand generation by measuring how Marketing and Inside Sales contribute to qualified pipeline.
Track win rates, sales cycles, average contract value and sales productivity, and recommend where to focus commercial resources.
Standardize processes across Marketing, Inside Sales, Field Sales and Strategic Accounts. Support territory planning and account assignment, and train the team on how to use the CRM.
Partner with Finance to turn revenue targets into pipeline and productivity needs. Find cross-sell and expansion opportunities, and bring customer and pipeline data from acquired companies into reporting.
Use automation and AI tools to cut sellers’ admin work and scale the function without adding headcount.
About You:
Your Background:
7+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations or commercial analytics.
Hands-on Salesforce experience, including administration and reporting.
Experience in a services business, ideally outsourced services such as security, facilities, custodial or food services.
Strong analytical skills: Excel, BI and reporting tools, and forecasting models.
Breadth across CRM, reporting and demand generation, not only one of them.
Both hands-on and strategic. You build the work yourself, advise leadership with data, and are comfortable working without a team.
Experience supporting B2B sales with complex buying processes that involve several stakeholders.
A track record of stable tenure and growth within your roles.
Excellent communication skills in English, and confidence to challenge commercial assumptions with executives.
Available to overlap with US Eastern or Central working hours.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Experience at private equity-backed companies, ideally including integrations after acquisitions.
Exposure to sales organizations with 80 or more sellers.
An AI-forward mindset, with examples of using AI tools to automate reporting or workflows.
Experience in recurring-revenue services.
