About the Company:
Our client, Blend, is a B2B agency working with brands in high-tech manufacturing, fintech, and cybersecurity. Its work spans demand generation, websites, CRM, and revenue operations.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Strategist to own integrated demand-generation strategy for mid-market B2B clients. You’ll connect marketing decisions to commercial goals and revenue pipeline, then direct creative, content, and channel specialists to bring those decisions to life. This is a strategy-led role—not one focused solely on executing a channel plan.
You Will:
- Design demand-generation programmes across content, social, paid media, search, events, and websites.
- Select channels and priorities based on buyer behaviour, evidence, and pipeline goals.
- Advise clients on positioning, messaging, thought leadership, and content strategy.
- Shape AEO/SEO, paid media, website, UX, and conversion strategies.
- Analyse performance data and turn insights into actionable recommendations.
- Define funnel conversion and CRM automation needs, partnering with HubSpot specialists on implementation.
- Lead client presentations and workshops; brief specialists and review their work against strategic goals.
About You:
Your Background:
- B2B strategy or planning experience within an agency.
- Evidence of owning marketing strategy and connecting your work to pipeline or commercial outcomes—not only executing SEO, PPC, or other channel tasks.
- Strong marketing and web analytics skills; able to identify meaningful metrics and explain what can and cannot be measured.
- Comfortable with search, paid media, social, content, website conversion, and AI tools.
- Confident presenting to clients, navigating ambiguity, and challenging assumptions constructively.
- Able to assess creative work against strategic intent and use AI and automation thoughtfully.
Nice to Have:
- A combination of agency and in-house experience at a semi-senior level—a profile Phil identified as a strong signal.
- HubSpot certifications; deep HubSpot knowledge is not required and can be learned.
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Strategy, or a related field.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation: $4,000–$6,000 USD/month, pending confirmation.
- PTO: Three weeks annually after the first 90 days, plus the observed holidays provided for this search.
- Flexible schedule, with UK-day overlap preferred.
