Job Description
About Us:
At Near, we help top talent in Latin America find remote roles with US companies. Our mission is to create better lives by fostering a remote work culture that transcends borders.
About Our Client:
.Our client is a performance media agency specializing in paid media, attribution and measurement, and full-funnel growth strategy. We work primarily with B2B, SaaS, technology, and professional services companies, connecting media strategy, execution, and measurement to drive qualified pipeline and revenue rather than focusing solely on platform metrics. Built by senior paid media specialists, we combine hands-on channel expertise with strong technical measurement, strategic guidance, and a focus on making better long-term performance decisions for our clients.
About the Role:
As a MarOps Specialist, you'll keep the marketing operations behind our client programs running cleanly. Reporting to our MarTech Solutions Engineer, you'll own the day-to-day tracking and conversion request queue: setting up and QA'ing conversion tracking across ad platforms, keeping CRM and ad platform data aligned, troubleshooting reporting discrepancies, and building client dashboards using the agency's templates, playbooks, and internal AI tooling.
Core Responsibilities
Client Ownership & Communication
- Own the Tracking & Conversion Requests queue in Asana: triage incoming requests, confirm access and missing information with account leads, and keep every ticket moving within SLA
- Set up conversion tracking for new and existing clients using Google Tag Manager, platform pixels, and conversion actions across Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, and emerging channels
- Run conversion audits and QA: verify that events fire correctly, are deduplicated, and match what clients see in their CRM and analytics tools
- Keep CRM and ad platform data aligned: lifecycle stages, lead and opportunity fields, and offline conversion imports from HubSpot, Salesforce, and attribution tools into the ad platforms
- Troubleshoot conversion tracking and reporting discrepancies between ad platforms, GA4 and CRMs, escalating complex server-side or integration issues to the MarTech Solutions Engineer
- Build and maintain client reporting dashboards in Looker Studio and the Summit Chase reporting portal
- Manage platform access, accounts, and asset ownership for tracking and measurement tools
- Meet with clients and their internal teams as necessary to facilitate technical implementation
- Partner with account leads to translate campaign goals into clear tracking requirements
- Coordinate with MarOps freelancers to ensure all projects are completed quickly and correctly
- Document every setup and fix, and contribute to the agency's repeatable templates, processes, and playbooks
- Use the agency's AI tooling and automations day-to-day, and flag repetitive work that should become a new automation
- Stay on top of digital advertising best practices, new tools, and industry trends
- Additional Ad Hoc and recurring tasks as needed
Secondary Responsibilities
-
Support the MarTech Solutions Engineer on server-side tracking, Conversions API (CAPI), and CRM integration builds, as well as our proprietary conversion gateway and Intelligence Portal
-
Maintain UTM and naming conventions across client accounts and platforms
- Run pre-launch QA of pixels, events, and hidden form fields before campaigns go live
- Work with client development teams on site-side tracking fixes
- Maintain per-client tracking plan documentation
Other Ideal Knowledge & Experience
These areas are not required, but would be advantageous for success in the role:
- Agency or multi-client experience
- Server-side tagging and conversion APIs (Meta CAPI, Google Enhanced Conversions) and consent mode
- SQL/BigQuery, or a customer data platform such as Segment
- HubSpot or Salesforce admin certifications
- B2B attribution tools
- Enough JavaScript to debug tags
- Comfort using AI tools in day-to-day work
What Success Looks Like
A successful MarOps Specialist:
- Quickly gets up to speed on our platforms, playbooks, and templates
- Leads tracking setups, audits, and dashboards independently, with QA from the MarTech Solutions Engineer
- Owns the queue end to end and escalates only true server-side or integration issues
- Keeps tickets within SLA
- Delivers dashboards quickly and accurately
- Keeps conversion counts across ad platforms, GA4, and CRM aligned within agreed tolerances
- Turns every repeat fix into a reusable template
Compensation range: $3,000 - $4,000 per month.
Schedule: full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm in the candidate’s local time.
Perks: unlimited PTO, plus all U.S. holidays and local holidays.
