About the Company:
Our client is a global advertising and media company specializing in programmatic and omnichannel media, with a managed-service approach. Their Strategy team supports sales and new business by building the strategy, narrative and client-facing materials behind pitches and proposals.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Strategy Manager to lead pre-sales strategy for new business and priority growth opportunities. This is a new position on a growing team. You will turn incomplete briefs, research and media inputs into a clear strategic narrative and a polished, client-ready deck. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with no people management. You will report to the Senior Associate Director and work closely with Growth, Planning and Client Services.
You Will:
Independently lead strategic development for RFPs, RFIs, custom proposals and priority growth requests.
Translate client objectives and research into a clear narrative, strategic rationale, audience approach, channel roles and high-level media recommendation.
Conduct audience, category, competitor, cultural, market and media research and turn findings into usable insights.
Build polished client-facing decks for pitches, capability conversations, QBRs and priority requests.
Partner with Growth, Planning and Client Services to ensure recommendations are differentiated, feasible and responsive to the brief.
Contribute reusable research, templates, playbooks and practical AI-enabled workflows that improve speed and quality.
About You:
Your Background:
Approximately 4-7 years of relevant experience. Scope and work samples matter more than title or tenure.
Strong agency or managed-service strategy experience with meaningful pre-sales responsibility.
Clear examples of decks you built end to end, including the original brief, insight, narrative, recommendation and your own contribution.
Hands-on ownership of RFPs or custom proposals under short timelines.
Strong research and synthesis skills across audiences, categories, competitors and markets.
High-quality PowerPoint or Google Slides deliverables and strong written storytelling.
Solid understanding of digital media, omnichannel planning, audience strategy, measurement and campaign feasibility.
Professional English for cross-functional work and presenting strategic thinking.
Nice to Have:
Experience planning against DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, StackAdapt, Xandr, Yahoo DSP or comparable platforms.
Experience with CTV, OLV, display, audio, DOOH, paid social, paid search, retail media or other omnichannel combinations.
Experience using AI for research synthesis, first-draft narratives, data analysis, custom assistants or workflow automation.
Client-facing exposure. It is a plus but not required, since the US team handles most direct client communication.
International or US-market experience.
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation: 3,000-3,400 USD/month, depending on experience.
Bonus: performance-based bonus
Paid time off: 15 days annually + US Holidays
Full-time, Contractor role.
