Senior Performance & Growth Marketing Manager
Remote | Full-Time Contractor | Latin America
Industry: Pet Wellness | Multi-Location Services | Franchise Growth
Near connects top talent from Latin America with fast-growing U.S. companies. We work closely with founders and hiring teams to find professionals who bring the right skills, mindset, and long-term fit.
Our client is a partnership of leading multi-unit franchise operators within Scenthound, one of the fastest-growing brands in the U.S. pet wellness industry.
Scenthound is transforming the traditional dog grooming industry by focusing on routine hygiene and preventative wellness. Its membership-based business model emphasizes recurring customer relationships, consistent service, and long-term customer value.
Backed by institutional investment and experiencing rapid national expansion, Scenthound represents an exciting opportunity at the intersection of pet wellness, franchising, and consumer subscription businesses.
The partners collectively operate a growing portfolio of Scenthound locations across multiple U.S. markets, with ambitious plans for continued expansion. These experienced operators are investing in building a dedicated, high-performance marketing function to accelerate customer acquisition, grow membership, and drive sustainable revenue growth.
Rather than relying exclusively on external marketing agencies, the group is bringing its growth marketing capabilities in-house to build a more agile, data-driven, and scalable customer acquisition engine.
This is a unique opportunity to work directly with successful business owners, manage meaningful marketing investments, and help shape the growth strategy of a rapidly expanding multi-location business.
We are seeking a Senior Performance & Growth Marketing Manager to lead paid customer acquisition and growth marketing across a portfolio of Scenthound locations.
This is a highly hands-on role combining strategic thinking, campaign execution, creative experimentation, and performance analysis.
You will own the day-to-day management and optimization of paid media campaigns, primarily across Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Ads, while identifying opportunities to expand into additional acquisition channels.
More importantly, you'll be responsible for connecting marketing investments to measurable business outcomes, including new customer bookings, first-time visits, membership acquisition, and revenue growth.
You'll work directly with a designated operating partner and collaborate with a small group of experienced franchise owners to develop strategies, prioritize growth opportunities, and continuously improve marketing performance.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing a growth strategy, building campaigns inside advertising platforms, analyzing performance data, and making independent recommendations about where to invest marketing dollars.
We're looking for someone who thinks beyond clicks, leads, and advertising dashboards, and understands how to turn marketing investment into real business growth.
Own Paid Media Strategy & Execution
Develop, launch, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Ads.
Own campaign structure, audience targeting, geographic targeting, budgets, bidding strategies, and ongoing optimization.
Develop localized advertising strategies tailored to individual stores, markets, and customer demographics.
Continuously improve customer acquisition efficiency through structured testing and performance optimization.
Evaluate and test additional acquisition channels, including YouTube, connected TV, display advertising, and direct mail, when appropriate.
Stay current on platform changes, emerging capabilities, and performance marketing best practices.
Drive Customer Acquisition & Revenue Growth
Develop acquisition strategies designed to increase first-time customer visits, new memberships, and store-level revenue.
Optimize the customer acquisition funnel, from initial advertising engagement through lead generation, appointment booking, and customer conversion.
Evaluate marketing performance across locations to identify the greatest opportunities for incremental growth.
Recommend how advertising budgets should be allocated across stores, markets, and channels to maximize business impact.
Collaborate with contact center and operations teams to identify and address conversion bottlenecks.
Align marketing investments with store-level growth objectives, appointment availability, and operational capacity.
Scenthound has recently partnered with a dedicated creative agency to produce a consistent pipeline of high-quality advertising assets, with new creative delivered every two weeks. This provides a strong foundation for rapid testing, iteration, and continuous performance improvement.
Develop and execute structured creative testing strategies across Meta and other paid media platforms, leveraging a steady pipeline of professionally produced advertising assets.
Evaluate new creative assets, identify promising concepts, and develop testing plans to determine which messaging, formats, offers, and creative approaches drive the strongest results.
Analyze creative performance to identify winning concepts, understand what resonates with target audiences, and continuously improve advertising effectiveness.
Serve as a key feedback partner to the creative agency, communicating performance insights, identifying creative opportunities, and recommending new concepts or variations for future production.

Establish a repeatable creative testing and learning framework that accelerates iteration, informs future creative development, and scales successful approaches across locations.
Own Performance Measurement & Reporting
Track and analyze marketing performance using metrics such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), cost per lead (CPL), cost per first visit, membership acquisition cost, conversion rates, and return on advertising investment.
Develop clear, actionable performance reporting across stores, campaigns, and acquisition channels.
Use advertising platform data alongside actual business performance to evaluate marketing effectiveness.
Identify trends, opportunities, and underperforming campaigns, translating insights into specific recommendations.
Monitor conversion tracking and attribution accuracy, helping identify and resolve measurement gaps.
Communicate performance results, strategic insights, and recommended actions clearly to business owners and stakeholders.

Help shape the long-term growth marketing capabilities of the organization as its portfolio expands.

Love experimentation. You're naturally curious, enjoy testing new ideas, and use data to determine what works.
Are comfortable with accountability. You take ownership of performance and continuously look for ways to improve results.
Communicate clearly. You can translate complex marketing data into straightforward business insights and actionable recommendations.
Enjoy building. You're excited about creating processes, improving systems, and helping establish a scalable marketing function.
Value collaboration. You enjoy working directly with experienced entrepreneurs and contributing to a high-performing team.
