JJob Description
About Us:
At Near, we help top talent in Latin America find remote roles with US companies. Our mission is to create better lives by fostering a remote work culture that transcends borders.
About Our Client:
Our client is a US-based marketing agency that helps small business owners win at marketing. They specialize in high-ticket home services (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical) and healthcare, and act as a true growth partner to the businesses they serve. Their culture is built on quality and impact, customer obsession, and a strong bias to action.
About the Role:
Join our US client on their mission to make the phones ring for home service and healthcare businesses. We are looking for a Sales Development Manager / Outbound Sales Lead to join their growing team as a hands-on player-coach.
Their outbound operation is early-stage: scripts are unproven, cadences are inconsistent, and the funnel needs to be diagnosed. This person will start by making cold calls to US home service business owners from day one, learn what actually gets a contractor to book a meeting, and turn those learnings into a documented, repeatable system that a team of 2 to 5 SDRs can run. This is a role for someone who loves building from scratch and is energized by testing, iterating, and owning the results.
Note: This is a remote, contractor role. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM U.S. Central Time, and it is non-negotiable since the role involves calling US businesses during their business day.
Key Responsibilities:
Personally cold call US businesses daily, from week one, until the process is proven.
Audit the existing outbound operation and identify clearly what is working and what is not.
Write, test, and refine cold-call openers, scripts, pitches, and objection handling based on real call results.
Build outbound calling and follow-up cadences that can be run consistently by other team members.
Develop the outbound offer and messaging in collaboration with the marketing team.
Establish baseline KPIs and daily, weekly, and monthly activity expectations.
Review call recordings and lead structured coaching sessions with SDRs.
Create SOPs, onboarding, and training materials so new SDRs ramp up in weeks, not quarters.
Hire, manage, and hold accountable a team of approximately 2 to 5 SDRs.
Clean list data, maintain CRM fields and workflows, and build reporting on qualified opportunities, show rate, stage-to-stage conversion, and outbound-sourced revenue.
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of B2B outbound sales experience.
Proven track record of making thousands of cold calls to US-based businesses, and the willingness to keep doing it.
Experience coaching SDRs or BDRs using real call recordings.
Experience building or meaningfully rebuilding an outbound process, not just executing an existing one.
Strong focus on conversion rates between funnel stages rather than activity totals.
Comfortable acting as an individual contributor and a manager at the same time.
Self-directed, with a bias to action and a “rough draft now, improve later” mindset.
Willingness to wear multiple hats, from selling to writing SOPs and fixing CRM data.
Fluent, professional English with a clear, neutral accent on the phone.
Reliable, quiet home office with stable high-speed internet and a professional headset.
Availability to work Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM U.S. Central Time.
Strongly preferred: experience selling digital marketing, SEO, Google Ads / PPC, lead generation, SaaS, martech, or B2B professional services.
Strongly preferred: experience with GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce, Salesloft, Outreach, or a serious dialer.
Perks: What’s in It for You?
Competitive compensation in US dollars, plus performance incentives tied to qualified opportunities, show rate, pipeline generated, outbound-sourced revenue, and SDR team performance.
Compensation range: $2,500 – $3,500 USD per month.
Please note that the final salary offer may vary based on the candidate’s seniority, specific skill set, and performance throughout the evaluation and interview process.
2 weeks of PTO
US holidays
Fully remote work
Opportunity to build and lead a team from the ground up
Excellent and dynamic work environment
