At Near, we connect top talent in Latin America with exciting remote opportunities. Our mission is to create better lives by fostering a remote work culture that transcends borders.
About the Company:
Our client produces eco-friendly paper products for food-service businesses in North America. It handles larger orders for customers served through distributors as well as e-commerce orders for smaller businesses. Its operations span multiple warehouses in the U.S. and Canada.
About the Role:
We’re looking for an Order Processor / Order Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day order flow and help ensure shipments reach customers on time. You’ll work directly with warehouses, customers, and carriers to track orders, communicate updates, and resolve delivery issues. This is a hands-on individual-contributor role where clear communication and consistent follow-through matter.
You Will:
Manage orders across the company’s U.S. and Canadian warehouses.
Coordinate with warehouses to confirm orders ship on time and follow up on delays.
Track shipments and keep customers informed of their status.
Investigate shipping issues, including lost packages, and work with carriers such as FedEx and UPS to resolve them.
Handle e-commerce orders as well as larger truckload orders sent to distributors.
Use the company’s ERP for order and inventory work and ClickUp for project management and communication.
About You:
Your Background:
Substantial hands-on experience in order processing, order operations, or a closely related role.
3+ years is ideal, though relevant experience and capability matter more than a fixed number.
Experience managing high-volume e-commerce orders and keeping details organized across a busy order flow.
Strong communication skills when working with customers, warehouses, and carriers.
The ability to follow shipment issues through to resolution and provide clear customer updates.
Comfortable owning the operational work directly rather than managing a team.
Nice to Have:
Experience with truckload orders, retailers, or distributors.
Experience at a business that scaled from hundreds to thousands of e-commerce orders.
Familiarity with ERP systems and ClickUp.
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation: 2,000–3,000 USD/month.
U.S. holidays and a flexible, effectively unlimited PTO policy based on reasonable use.
You’ll use your own equipment.
