About the Role:
We’re looking for an E-Commerce Marketing Manager who combines technical mastery with aesthetic grit, taste, and brand judgment. You’ll manage day-to-day store operations, drive growth and conversion strategies, and oversee lifecycle marketing initiatives to accelerate brand scaling. This role requires someone who is proactive, highly resourceful, and deeply proficient in leveraging AI to move fast, taking initiative in the face of ambiguity and delivering high-quality results even when challenges arise.
You Will:
Manage day-to-day operations on Shopify and Shopify Plus, including site updates, merchandising, and SKU management.
Plan and execute the overall integrated marketing and lifecycle calendar, spending roughly a third of your time on strategic planning and a third on lifecycle execution (email marketing and retention).
Drive the growth and conversion strategy (CRO), optimizing site performance and maximizing revenue and margins.
Leverage AI platforms heavily for prompt-based campaign ideation, suggestions, image generation, email design, and operational acceleration.
Oversee email marketing performance, click-through rates, and deliverability, managing external email freelancers for execution.
Maintain a sharp aesthetic eye and brand judgment, ensuring all emails, promotions, and copy stay true to the fashion brand’s tone.
Collaborate cross-functionally with the in-house designer, fulfillment team, and founder to coordinate drops, social media posting, and wholesale catalog accounts (such as Nordstrom and Faire).
About You:
Your Background:
Proven experience managing e-commerce stores, site merchandising, and digital marketing strategies.
Mandatory background in fashion, apparel, jewelry, accessories, home decor, or footwear for a full-price, brand-building company (not discount/flash sales).
Deep knowledge of Shopify/Shopify Plus operations, Klaviyo email marketing, and cross-channel performance analytics (including Meta Ads).
Strong proficiency in leveraging AI tools for rapid content generation, design execution, and campaign strategy.
Excellent communication skills — comfortable in a distributed, English-speaking environment.
High taste level and acute aesthetic judgment tailored to a premium fashion brand.
Self-motivated, hands-on generalist who thrives in a small team and is eager to wear multiple hats.
Nice to Have:
Experience with social media editing, content creation, and basic influencer management.
Background working with wholesale catalog accounts or multichannel retail operations.
Previous experience in high-growth startup or boutique fashion environments.
