About Our Client
Our client is a well-established US e-commerce company specializing in classic Volkswagen parts. Founded in the late 1980s, they offer more than 10,000 parts and accessories to car enthusiasts and restorers across the country. They are known for their knowledgeable, customer-first support, delivered by a fully remote customer service team of around 15 people.
About the Role
Join our US client on their mission to deliver outstanding service to classic car enthusiasts. We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their friendly, fully remote team.
In this phone-facing role, you'll be the voice customers hear when they call for help with their orders. You'll work closely with the customer service manager and the technical support team, with hands-on training and in-house AI tools to help you ramp up quickly. This is a long-term position for someone who enjoys helping people and wants to grow with the team.
Note: This is a remote, contractor role.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound customer calls in a friendly, clear and professional manner.
- Provide updates on order status and shipping.
- Place new orders and process changes for customers over the phone.
- Answer general questions about products, orders and policies.
- Route technical and installation questions to the technical support team.
- Use internal systems and AI tools to find information and resolve issues quickly.
- Document customer interactions accurately.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to keep the phone line covered during peak hours.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in customer service, ideally handling inbound calls.
- Excellent communication skills and a clear, professional phone presence.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Reliability and a quiet, professional home office with a stable internet connection.
- Availability to work 7am – 4pm Pacific Time, Monday to Friday.
- Advanced English level (C1+).
- Nice to have: interest in or general knowledge of cars, especially classic VWs.
- Nice to have: Spanish.
