About Our Client:
Our client is a fast-growing consumer packaged goods (CPG) company known for its premium, natural beverage products, sold through brick-and-mortar retail across the US. The company has built a loyal customer base around high-quality ingredients and everyday wellness. It's a high-growth business built by a team of builders, creatives, and problem-solvers who move quickly, think boldly, and care deeply about quality and community.
About the Role:
Join our US client on their mission to build a brand people love. This is a new role, created as the company expands its sales and marketing teams to support continued growth. We are looking for a Commercial Sales Analyst to serve as the analytical and operational backbone of the U.S. brick & mortar sales team.
This role will translate sales, distribution, velocity, promotion, and trade-spend data into clear insights that help the team make better customer and investment decisions, managing trade-spend tracking and deductions, supporting new-item setup and retailer execution, and partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing on forecasting and planning. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical self-starter, detail-oriented, commercially curious, and energized by turning data and process into actionable recommendations that accelerate profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Own recurring sales reporting and customer scorecards across U.S. brick & mortar accounts, tracking net sales, distribution, velocity, assortment, promotion performance, and other key commercial KPIs.
Analyze retailer, category, and SKU performance to identify trends, risks, white-space opportunities, and actionable insights that drive greater share of shelf and sales.
Support customer business reviews and selling stories by translating sales and syndicated data into clear, compelling recommendations and presentations.
Manage trade-spend tracking, promotional accruals, deductions, and pricing compliance, monitoring customer investment versus plan and proactively flagging risks or variances.
Evaluate promotional effectiveness and ROI, helping the sales team optimize discount depth, frequency, merchandising support, and trade investment.
Coordinate new-item setup and retailer onboarding requirements, including customer forms, portals, product specifications, pricing, case-pack information, and distribution timelines.
Support monthly forecasting and internal planning meetings, consolidating customer inputs, identifying changes versus plan, and partnering with Sales and Supply Chain to improve forecast accuracy.
Partner with Finance to reconcile trade activity, deductions, and customer-level profitability, ensuring accurate reporting of commercial investment.
Build and improve tools, dashboards, and processes that increase visibility, simplify sales-team workflows, and enable faster, data-driven decision making.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of experience in relevant roles within CPG, such as sales analytics, category management, or revenue growth management.
Direct experience supporting brick-and-mortar retail accounts and understanding key retail/CPG drivers, including sales, distribution, velocity, assortment, pricing, and promotion.
Advanced Excel skills.
Strong analytical capability with large/complex datasets, including hands-on experience mining POS, retailer, shipment, and/or category data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable commercial insights that influence decisions and drive measurable business results.
Experience supporting sales forecasting, including analyzing actuals vs. forecast and identifying drivers of variance.
Working knowledge of trade spend and promotional effectiveness, including promotions, deductions/accruals, and evaluating customer investment.
Highly self-directed and commercially curious, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize, solve problems, and identify opportunities and efficiencies with limited direction.
Proficient English level.
