Job Description
About Us:
At Near, we help top talent in Latin America find remote roles with US companies. Our mission is to create better lives by fostering a remote work culture that transcends borders.
About Our Client:
Our client is a full-service influencer marketing agency with a team of 80+ people, fully remote and distributed across the US, Canada, and beyond. They partner with major global brands across retail, fashion, consumer goods, and technology to build influencer marketing campaigns that combine creative storytelling with data-driven strategy and measurement. They work directly with senior stakeholders — VPs, Heads of, and C-suite — at Fortune 500-level brands, running high-budget, high-visibility programs rather than small side projects, with an average deal size in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
About the Role:
Join our US client's growing Account Management team as an Account Manager. Depending on your experience level, you'll either own end-to-end delivery of a higher volume of mid-tier campaigns, or run the agency's most complex, high-budget, high-touch accounts with a high degree of autonomy and a mentorship component. Either way, you'll be the engine behind campaigns from influencer outreach through final reporting — working cross-functionally with Paid Media, Creative, Market Insights, and Client Partner teams, and building direct, trusted relationships with demanding, sophisticated clients.
Note: This is a remote, full-time contractor role.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end delivery of multi-platform influencer campaigns: outreach, negotiation, contracting, briefing, content review, and reporting.
Own and maintain workback schedules, client-facing influencer trackers, and internal budget tracking.
Run client calls and reporting sessions, turning performance data into a clear narrative tied to strategy.
Negotiate contracts and rates, evaluating redlines and recommending a path forward.
Identify mid-campaign optimization opportunities and proactively implement or propose solutions.
Manage relationships with a range of talent, from mid-tier creators up to mega and celebrity-level partnerships (senior profiles).
Collaborate cross-functionally with Paid Media, Creative, Market Insights, and Client Partner teams to keep programs on track.
Flag risks and scope creep proactively, bringing solutions rather than just problems.
Coach and mentor Associate or Junior Account Managers on execution and advanced AI strategies (senior profiles).
Apply AI tools daily to streamline research, drafting, and reporting.
What We're Looking For:
4+ years of experience in influencer or digital marketing, ideally within an agency environment (5+ years and a track record managing $1M+ quarterly budgets for senior-level consideration).
Proven experience running influencer campaigns end-to-end across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
Strong client-facing experience — comfortable owning client relationships and leading calls independently.
Working knowledge of influencer contracts and negotiation fundamentals.
Strong project management skills: workbacks, budgets, and multiple simultaneous campaigns.
Proficiency with influencer management tools (CreatorIQ, Modash, Upfluence, or equivalent).
Advanced AI fluency, comfortable applying AI tools daily and teaching others to do the same (senior profiles).
Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, and project management tools such as Asana.
Excellent written and spoken English.
