About the Company:
Our client is an innovative performance marketing agency and consumer media company that helps leading direct-to-consumer brands improve customer acquisition through high-performing creative, paid media, creator content, and editorial storytelling.
They partner with consumer brands across wellness, beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and related categories. Their work combines strong creative craft with a focus on measurable paid-media performance.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Designer & Video Editor to create performance-focused creative for a roster of DTC brands. You’ll turn briefs and raw creator footage into static ads, UGC edits, short-form video, and brand-forward campaign assets.
This is a hands-on execution role for someone who cares about creative quality and understands how hooks, pacing, messaging, and formats influence performance. You should be organized, reliable, responsive to feedback, and comfortable managing multiple fast-moving client projects.
You Will:
- Create static ads, campaign assets, editorial graphics, and client-facing materials from creative briefs.
- Edit vertical short-form videos for Meta and TikTok, including hooks, pacing, captions, text treatment, transitions, and sound.
- Transform raw UGC and creator footage into polished paid-media deliverables.
- Produce multiple hooks, variations, resizes, and test versions from the same creative assets.
- Follow brand guidelines, client preferences, visual identity, and messaging standards across projects.
- Apply creative feedback quickly and ask clarifying questions before execution when needed.
- Use performance insights to improve creative decisions around hooks, pacing, formats, and messaging.
- Maintain clean file structures, templates, naming conventions, and version control.
- Collaborate with creative, growth, and editorial teams on high-quality client deliverables.
- Explore AI-enabled video editing and creative workflows to improve speed and output.
About You:
Your Background:
- 2–4 years of professional experience in video editing, graphic design, or creative production.
- Experience in an agency, DTC brand, e-commerce company, or fast-paced in-house creative environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both design and video editing work.
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator, and/or Figma.
- Strong short-form, vertical video editing skills for Meta, TikTok, and UGC-style paid social content.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, pacing, text animation, captions, transitions, and sound design.
- Experience working from creative briefs, raw footage, brand guidelines, and client feedback.
- Familiarity with performance creative and the principles of paid-social creative testing.
- Excellent English communication skills in a distributed work environment.
- Highly organized, reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage several briefs and deadlines at once.
- Proactive and comfortable asking questions early rather than reworking unclear assignments.
- Open to feedback, committed to continuous improvement, and interested in creating work that performs, not only looks good.
Nice to Have:
- After Effects and advanced motion graphics skills.
- Photo retouching and product-image cleanup experience.
- Experience producing performance creative for DTC, beauty, wellness, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer-product brands.
- Experience in an agency or client-services environment with multiple accounts.
- AI video editing or AI-assisted creative production experience.
- Comfortable being on camera or producing UGC-style content.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation: $2,000 USD/month - $2,500 USD/month
- Flexible / unlimited PTO policy.
- Approximately 12–13 U.S. company holidays, with flexibility around relevant local holidays.
- Flexible working hours and remote work.
- Access to relevant software and tools, with consideration for additional work-related tool allowances.
- Candidates are expected to use their own equipment.
