At Near, we help top talent in Latin America find remote roles with U.S. companies. Our mission is to create better lives by fostering a remote work culture that transcends borders.
They are a U.S.-based marketing and automation agency building a next-generation AI workflow platform for service-based businesses. The company operates both a traditional growth agency and a fast-growing AI automation division focused on designing and implementing intelligent business systems that improve lead handling, onboarding, customer communication, and operational efficiency.
They are actively building and iterating a production MVP using tools like n8n, GoHighLevel, Make, Zapier, OpenAI, and Anthropic, while developing scalable automation systems for client-facing environments.
This is a hands-on workflow builder role, not a traditional project management or software engineering position.
We are looking for someone who works daily in low-code automation tools (especially n8n and GoHighLevel) to design, build, and maintain production workflows for real clients.
You will be directly responsible for implementing AI-powered automations that support lead management, onboarding, CRM operations, and client communication systems.
This role is execution-focused. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, builds and iterates quickly, and is comfortable owning client-facing automation workflows from setup to ongoing optimization.
This is not an AI research, machine learning, or software architecture role. It is a builder/operator role focused on delivering reliable, production-ready automation systems.
• Lead onboarding and implementation of automation workflows for clients
• Translate client requirements into functional, scalable low-code workflows
• Act as the primary point of contact during implementation and rollout phases
• Build, configure, test, and maintain workflows using tools like n8n, GoHighLevel, Make, and Zapier
• Implement AI functionality inside workflows using APIs such as OpenAI and Anthropic
• Optimize existing workflows based on performance, client feedback, and operational needs
• Ensure workflows are stable, reliable, and easy for clients to use
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in live production environments
• Work closely with internal team members to improve automation systems and processes
• Continuously iterate on onboarding and implementation workflows to improve efficiency
• Support the development of scalable internal automation templates and systems
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery
• Provide feedback based on real client usage to improve systems and workflows
• Document workflows, processes, and implementation standards clearly for internal use
• 3–5+ years of experience in automation, operations, workflow building, or similar hands-on execution roles
• Strong daily experience building production workflows in n8n, GoHighLevel, Make, Zapier, or similar low-code platforms
• Experience implementing CRM-based automation and lead management workflows
• Hands-on experience working with AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) inside automation tools
• Strong understanding of how to build reliable, production-ready workflows (not prototypes)
• Experience working directly with clients in implementation, onboarding, or operational roles
• Strong English communication skills in client-facing environments
• Spanish proficiency is a strong plus for the company’s U.S. Hispanic client base
• Proven ability to take ownership and independently drive projects from setup to completion
• Strong problem-solving mindset with high execution speed
• Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments with evolving priorities
• U.S.-friendly working hours (8am–5pm CST preferred)
• Experience building client-facing automation or onboarding systems
• Experience with GoHighLevel (GHL) or similar CRM automation platforms
• Exposure to marketing automation, lead generation workflows, or sales pipelines
• Experience working with APIs and connecting multiple SaaS tools
• Experience improving operational systems in live client environments
• Background in SMB-focused automation rather than enterprise systems
• Experience documenting workflows and operational processes clearly
• Previous startup or agency experience is a strong plus
• $2,500 USD/month
• Opportunity to work directly on real-world AI automation systems in production
• Hands-on experience with modern automation tools and AI integrations
• Fully remote long-term opportunity
• Direct exposure to U.S.-based clients and leadership teams
• Fast-paced environment with strong ownership and growth potential
