We are looking for a creative and highly hands-on Organic Social Media & Content Specialist to build and grow the company’s organic social media presence.
This is an execution-focused role for someone who enjoys generating ideas, creating content, following trends, and engaging directly with online communities. You will take ownership of the organic content calendar and produce platform-native content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other relevant channels.
You will work closely with the internal marketing team, UGC creators, influencers, and external agencies to turn existing footage, testimonials, and brand assets into engaging content that feels credible, clever, and relevant to parents.
Own and execute the organic social media calendar across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
Develop creative content ideas aligned with the brand, current trends, and conversations among parents and new mothers.
Create and edit short-form videos, reels, images, captions, and other platform-native content.
Repurpose UGC, testimonials, B-roll, and creator content into engaging organic social assets.
Write conversational, on-brand social media copy and support occasional product or website copy needs.
Manage comments, direct messages, and community interactions with a warm, thoughtful, and credible tone.
Collaborate with the marketing team, content creators, influencers, and external agencies to maintain a consistent flow of content.
Monitor parenting and family-related communities to identify relevant conversations, content opportunities, and emerging trends.
Track channel performance and provide regular reporting on engagement, audience growth, reach, and content performance.
Continuously test new formats and use performance insights to improve the organic content strategy.
3-5 years of hands-on experience creating and managing organic social media content, particularly for Instagram and TikTok.
Strong portfolio demonstrating short-form video editing, visual content creation, copywriting, and platform-native social content.
Experience independently managing a content calendar from ideation through creation, publishing, and performance tracking.
Advanced conversational and written English, with the ability to create natural and culturally relevant content for a U.S. audience.
Experience using AI-powered content tools and social media publishing, editing, or analytics platforms.
Experience working with UGC creators, influencers, testimonials, or external creative agencies.
Previous experience with a DTC, consumer health, wellness, parenting, baby, food, or family-focused brand.
Strong creative judgment, autonomy, and initiative, with the ability to understand a brand and continuously generate new content ideas.
Familiarity with Reddit communities and an understanding of authentic community participation and platform etiquette.
Personal or professional familiarity with parenting and new-mom audiences, with the ability to understand their questions, concerns, interests, and online behavior.
Compensation: USD 2,500–3,500 per month, depending on experience and seniority.
100% remote, full-time contractor position.
Working hours aligned with EST, (Open to part-time for exceptional candidates)
