About the Role
We’re looking for a Market Research Assistant to research companies behind social media accounts and build accurate, evidence-backed records. You’ll work independently through batches of cases, using online sources to identify company details and document proof of your findings.
This role is ideal for a highly analytical, self-managed professional who can connect the dots, evaluate source credibility, and work efficiently in a flexible async environment.
You Will
Conduct online investigative research to identify individuals or entities associated with digital accounts
Verify contact and company information using public records, official registries, and other reliable sources
Document and organize findings with supporting evidence
Evaluate the reliability and legal usability of gathered information
Meet daily case-volume targets while maintaining research quality and efficiency
Maintain accurate records and document findings clearly.
About You
Your Background
Experience in market research, data research, legal assistance, business analysis, sales research, journalism, or a related field.
Strong research and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to connect information across multiple online sources.
Strong English communication skills.
Comfortable using Instagram and conducting web-based research.
Highly self-managed, organized, and accountable in a fully remote environment.
Able to work independently without strict day-to-day oversight.
Detail-oriented, especially when evaluating whether a source is credible and usable as evidence.
Nice to Have
Degree or academic background in economics, journalism, law, business, or a related discipline.
Experience as a legal assistant or working with legal documentation.
Experience with market research, data entry, lead research, or company verification.
Familiarity with German language or interest in learning German.
Experience using company databases, public registries, or business intelligence tools.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation: $1,300 - $1,500 USD/month
Fully remote role
Flexible working hours, 40 hours a week.
10 days of paid time off after the initial 3 months period.
U.S. holidays observed.
