Our client is a licensed Florida process serving and private investigative agency that provides legal support services to law firms, insurance companies, and other legal professionals across Florida. The company handles approximately 8,000 jobs per year and is looking to expand its business development efforts.
They are looking for a full-time Business Development Manager to drive new business, build relationships with law firms, and expand the company’s client base. This role will work directly with the CEO and will have significant ownership over the sales process.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business by proactively reaching out to Florida law firms and connecting with key decision-makers, including paralegals, legal assistants, office managers, and attorneys.
The ideal candidate is an experienced B2B sales professional who is highly comfortable with outbound phone sales, can build rapport quickly, and is capable of managing the full sales cycle independently. The role will also involve growing existing accounts, identifying upselling opportunities, and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Conduct high-volume outbound calls and emails to Florida law firms to generate new business
• Identify and connect with decision-makers, including paralegals, legal assistants, office managers, and attorneys
• Introduce the company’s services and effectively communicate their value to prospective clients
• Follow up consistently with prospects to convert opportunities into first orders
• Manage the onboarding process for new clients, including guiding them through the client portal and payment setup
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Identify opportunities for upselling, referrals, and expanding services within existing accounts
• Re-engage inactive accounts and develop win-back opportunities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity, prospect, and account information in Lemlist
• Develop relationships with firms to establish ongoing or firm-wide service arrangements
• Gather and communicate customer feedback, objections, and competitive insights to the CEO
• Take ownership of sales activities and priorities while working directly with the CEO
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve outreach, follow-up, and business development processes
• 4+ years of professional experience in business development, sales, or a related field
• 3+ years of B2B sales experience selling into the U.S. market
• Proven experience with high-volume outbound phone sales and cold calling
• Native-level spoken English with excellent client-facing communication skills; a slight accent is acceptable
• Fluent Spanish is mandatory
• Strong ability to build rapport and establish relationships over the phone
• Highly self-directed and comfortable working independently without a sales manager
• Strong organizational, follow-up, and time management skills
• Comfortable using CRM and sales engagement tools such as Lemlist, Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, HubSpot, or similar platforms
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prospects and accounts simultaneously
• Comfortable working directly with company leadership in a high-accountability environment
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace
• Availability to work full-time during U.S. Eastern Time business hours, Monday through Friday
• Experience working with law firms or within the U.S. legal services industry
• Experience selling legal services such as process serving, court reporting, records retrieval, litigation support, legal staffing, or e-discovery
• Experience selling to paralegals, legal assistants, attorneys, or other legal support professionals
• Experience in short-cycle, transactional B2B sales environments with high call volume
• Experience managing existing accounts alongside new business development
• Experience generating referrals, upselling services, and re-engaging inactive accounts
• Experience working at a U.S.-based startup or small company with end-to-end ownership of sales activities
• $2,500–$3,000 USD per month
