About Us:
At Near, we help top talent in Latin America find remote roles with US companies. Our mission is to create better lives by fostering a remote work culture that transcends borders.
About Our Client:
Our client is a US-based SaaS company serving the staffing and recruiting industry. Their platform helps staffing companies communicate with candidates and clients through AI-driven messaging, automation, and workflow tools. They work with a portfolio of US staffing company customers and pair Customer Success with a Deployment Engineering function to onboard, implement, and grow those accounts.
About the Role:
Join our US client on their mission to help staffing companies run better, faster operations through AI-powered tools. We are looking for a Customer Success Manager to join their team and act as the project manager and advocate for a portfolio of US staffing company accounts. This is not a traditional support role: the CSM owns the relationship, the agenda, the account data, and every open item until it is closed. They run daily Zoom calls, onboard new accounts, drive adoption, monitor account health, build light configurations, and coordinate with Deployment Engineers on more complex builds. This role has real visibility and impact, and offers room to grow within a fast-moving, hands-on team.
Note: This is a remote or hybrid, direct contractor role, depending on candidate location (details below).
Location:
Buenos Aires, Argentina: hybrid, 3 days per week required at a coworking space in Vicente Lopez.
Cordoba, Argentina: hybrid, currently 2 days per week in office, moving to 3; candidates must be open to 3 days.
Rest of Argentina: remote.
Rest of Latin America: remote, with a higher bar for English fluency and project management or comparable ownership experience.
All candidates must be fully available during EST hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Run daily Zoom calls with customers: onboarding, training, troubleshooting, and weekly check-ins.
Prepare for every call by reviewing account usage and open items beforehand, and close every meeting with clear owners and dates.
Own a portfolio of accounts end to end and stay accountable for every open item until closure.
Monitor account data proactively (usage, credits per message, response and conversion rates) and act on anomalies before the customer notices.
Build and maintain light configuration: sequences, campaigns, segments, and simple automations.
Coordinate with Deployment Engineers on complex builds and chase that work through to completion.
Guide customers on best practices and push back constructively when a request is the wrong approach.
Detect and escalate churn risk, competitor mentions, and expansion signals the same day they come up.
Communicate status proactively, so customers never have to chase for an update on an unresolved item.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a customer-facing role: onboarding, implementation, customer success, or project management, ideally in SaaS, CRM, VoIP, messaging platforms, recruiting or staffing software, or HR tech.
A track record of owning a messy problem end to end, across teams, with a clear result, not just escalating and waiting.
A proactive mindset: comfortable noticing a usage drop or a workflow gap and acting on it without being asked.
Basic data literacy: comfortable reading account or usage data and using numbers to tell a story, without needing a statistics background.
Technical curiosity: comfortable learning a software platform quickly and holding a basic conversation about how systems and integrations connect. A STEM degree is not required.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, and a confident, engaged presence on camera.
Comfort respectfully pushing back on a customer's request when it is not the right approach.
Perks – What's in It for You?
Competitive compensation in US dollars. Please note that the final salary offer may vary based on the candidate's seniority, specific skill set, and performance throughout the evaluation and interview process.
Performance bonus based on account health, CSAT, and expansion metrics.
24 PTO business days per year to cover vacations and local holidays
Office access provided for hybrid locations.
Excellent and dynamic work environment.
Career development opportunities.
