4Degrees is a vertical SaaS CRM for private markets firms, including venture capital, private equity, investment banking, and consulting teams. Its platform helps customers manage relationships, deals, and workflows through relationship intelligence and AI-powered automation.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a growing product team and own meaningful projects across an established SaaS product. You will build end-to-end product experiences, make thoughtful technical and product trade-offs, and help deliver AI-powered workflows for customers.
You Will:
Build AI-powered workflows that help users get answers from relationship and CRM data and take action with less manual work.
Develop product experiences end to end, from backend APIs and data models through the UI.
Improve relationship intelligence capabilities, including network and relationship insights.
Reimagine CRM workflows through automation and natural-language interfaces.
Improve product performance, reliability, and scalability in production.
Use modern AI development tools to help a small engineering team ship efficiently.
Collaborate closely with founders, product, and engineering teammates.
About You:
Your Background:
Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience shipping production SaaS products.
Significant backend experience with Python.
Comfortable working with JavaScript on the frontend.
Strong SQL and database skills.
Able to debug production issues and work effectively in an existing codebase.
Strong implementation and design judgment, including evaluating trade-offs and escalating architectural questions when needed.
High ownership mindset and ability to execute independently.
Comfortable using AI development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar.
Experience working in startups or dynamic environments.
Strong communication skills and customer-oriented product thinking.
Nice to Have:
Founder experience or experience building products in an early-stage startup environment.
Experience with GCP, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, cloud infrastructure, background jobs, or production reliability.
Experience with Docker and Terraform.
Experience with LangChain, LLM-enabled products, machine learning, or AI technologies.
Experience scaling SaaS applications.
