About the Role:
We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage daily AP processes, credit-card reconciliations, and vendor communication. You’ll collaborate with the finance team and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely financial operations.
This role requires someone who is highly dependable, proactive, and able to work independently in a fully remote environment.
You Will:
Manage day-to-day accounts payable processes.
Perform three-way matching, month-end close support, and account reconciliations.
Reconcile company credit-card transactions.
Communicate with vendors and internal credit-card users.
Help ensure adherence to company credit-card and expense policies.
Prepare accurate reports in a timely manner.
Identify and propose practical process improvements.
Learn and adapt quickly to new finance platforms and systems.
About You:
Your Background:
Experience in accounts payable, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
Strong Excel skills, including functions such as VLOOKUP.
Experience with credit-card transaction reconciliation.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Comfortable managing relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Reliable, organized, and responsive during working hours.
Proactive, resourceful, and motivated to improve processes.
Able to enforce policies firmly while maintaining positive working relationships.
Nice to Have:
Experience supporting U.S.-based companies.
Experience in consumer products, beauty, marketing-driven, or influencer-led businesses.
Familiarity with Netsuite or the ability to quickly learn finance platforms.
Experience with Excel automation, VBA, or reporting tools.
A broader understanding of finance operations beyond individual AP tasks.
