Our client is an event and brand activation agency with roots in music festivals, now expanding into corporate work. They design high-energy, immersive experiences for both standalone brand activations and larger corporate events (such as tech conferences blended with a festival atmosphere), working with well-known consumer, tech and luxury brands. The team is high-touch with clients and values designers who can bring a bold, festival-informed creative sensibility into corporate and brand settings.
As a Spatial / Experiential Designer, you will design brand activations and physical event environments — translating creative concepts into 3D renders, floor plans and layouts that are grounded in what's realistic to fabricate. You won't be involved in the physical implementation itself, but you do need practical judgment about materials, lighting and spatial constraints so your designs can be built in real life.
Design experiential brand activations and spatial layouts for events, translating creative concepts into 3D renders and floor plans.
Apply practical knowledge of fabrication feasibility — materials, lighting, and physical/spatial constraints — to ensure designs can realistically be built.
Consider people flow and spatial dynamics for large-scale activations and events.
Support a range of activation types: standalone brand activations, trade shows, pop-ups, and larger blended festival/corporate experiences (e.g., a tech conference with bars and lounges).
Collaborate closely with the client's internal creative and events team; comfort interfacing directly with end clients/brands is valued given the agency's high-touch approach.
Stay flexible and responsive during "show weeks," when request volume and hours can increase ahead of major events.
Work fully remotely, with no travel required to events.
Minimum of ~4 years of experience in experiential, spatial, or event design, or a closely related field.
Practical understanding of fabrication feasibility: materials, lighting, and how designs translate into real, physical spaces.
Working knowledge of Vectorworks and CAD / architectural design files.
Strong portfolio with clear 3D renders and/or spatial layouts for real-world brand activations or events.
Full-time availability, standard business hours with flexibility during peak event weeks.
Experience working with luxury, tech, or well-known consumer brands (e.g., CPG, beauty, or alcohol brands).
Candidates newer to the field (fewer than 4 years) will still be considered if they have relevant experience with comparable brand-level work.
Comfort and polish interfacing directly with high-touch clients, if needed.
Additional 3D modeling / rendering software beyond Vectorworks and CAD (to be confirmed with client).
Flexible time off with the expectation of extra availability during show weeks.
