Our client is a growing US-based mental healthcare company focused on providing accessible, high-quality mental health services. The organization provides therapy and psychiatric care and is experiencing significant growth, creating an increasing need for strong operational support across the People Team.
Join our US client on their mission to provide excellent mental healthcare. We are looking for a People Operations Coordinator to join their People Team and provide hands-on support with day-to-day HR operations.
This role will be responsible for helping manage employee data, supporting onboarding and offboarding, maintaining HRIS accuracy, running reports, and handling high-volume administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with HR systems, and able to identify opportunities to improve and automate repetitive processes.
Note: This is a remote, contractor role with an initial three-month trial period and potential for continued engagement based on business needs and performance.
Manage employee data changes and updates within the company’s HRIS.
Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring information and documentation are accurate and complete.
Perform data entry, audits, and data cleanup to maintain accurate employee records.
Run HRIS reports and support the People Team with data requests.
Send templated communications and follow up with new hires and employees to collect required information.
Support payroll-related administrative tasks and employee data updates.
Monitor and process routine People Team requests in a timely manner.
Maintain and improve documentation for HR processes and workflows.
Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve repetitive People Operations processes.
Provide general administrative support to the People Team as priorities evolve.
2–4 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Coordination, Payroll, or a similar HR administrative role.
Hands-on experience working with an HRIS and managing employee data.
Strong attention to detail and demonstrated accuracy in high-volume administrative environments.
Experience supporting onboarding, offboarding, or other employee lifecycle processes.
Strong Excel and data management skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Proactive mindset with an interest in process improvement and automation.
Experience working with US HR processes is a plus.
Experience with Paylocity or a comparable HRIS is a plus.
Proficient English level.
