They operate as a fully remote team and are focused on improving internal reporting, operational efficiency, and automation across the business. With collaboration and continuous improvement at their core, they are building smarter internal systems to better support their teams and clients.
About the Role:
We’re looking for an AI Automation Data Specialist who can take ownership of internal reporting systems while also helping build automations that improve workflows across the company. You’ll maintain and improve dashboards, support data accuracy, and partner closely with internal stakeholders across accounting, tax, and operations to identify automation opportunities. This role requires someone who is proactive, collaborative, technically strong, and comfortable translating business needs into practical solutions.
You Will:
- Take ownership of existing internal dashboards and reporting systems
- Maintain and improve Power BI dashboards and reporting workflows
- Work with data stored in Supabase/Superbase and SQL-based environments
- Ensure reporting data is clean, accurate, and updated daily
- Troubleshoot issues quickly and act as the go-to person when dashboards or automations break
- Partner with internal team leads and managers to identify workflow inefficiencies
- Design and build automations that reduce manual work and improve internal processes
- Help assess what automation opportunities are realistic, valuable, and feasible
- Collaborate across accounting, enterprise accounting, and tax teams
- Support the transition of this function from an outsourced partner to an in-house owner
About You:
Your Background:
- Experience working with Power BI, SQL, and Supabase/Superbase
- Experience building, maintaining, and improving dashboards and reporting systems
- Experience creating workflow automations and improving operational processes
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a fully remote and asynchronous environment
- Proactive and collaborative, with a strong sense of ownership
- Able to work cross-functionally and move projects forward with multiple internal stakeholders
- Builder mentality with strong problem-solving skills
- Mid- to senior-level experience in a similar role
Nice to Have:
- Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, tax, or financial operations environments
- Familiarity with chart of accounts, general ledger, or QuickBooks Online
- Experience with Zapier, Claude, or similar AI / no-code automation tools
- Experience working with large datasets, reporting logic, and workflow mapping
- Interest or ability to grow into a future management track
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation: Up to $5,000 USD/month
