About the Company:
Our client is a fractional CFO business building both finance services and AI-native internal/client-facing tools. Their goal is to combine human strategic finance support with software products that improve reporting, forecasting, and decision-making for growing companies.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to build internal operational tools and external client-facing finance products. You’ll work closely with the founder, who will define product direction, while you own execution across the full build process. This role requires someone fast, pragmatic, startup-ready, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in an early-stage environment.
You Will:
Build internal tools for CRM, client management, and knowledge sharing.
Build client-facing tools such as dashboards, forecasting applications, and finance workflows.
Develop backend logic, data manipulation systems, and financial forecasting functionality.
Research existing tools and solutions to avoid reinventing the wheel.
Support end-to-end product delivery in a fast-moving startup context.
Build polished tools with sound UX/UI instincts, even if not a dedicated designer.
About You:
Your Background:
Strong full-stack engineering experience with Python and modern web product development.
Experience building backend systems involving logic, forecasting, and data visualization.
Comfortable operating independently as an early technical hire.
Able to move quickly and execute with minimal structure.
Startup-minded, adaptable, and comfortable handling evolving priorities.
Strong ownership mentality and practical product judgment.
Nice to Have:
Fintech or financial services experience.
Experience building client-facing products.
Good UX/UI instincts.
Comfort with AI-assisted development workflows; “AI engineer” here means AI-native builder, not ML specialist.
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation: $6,000–$7,500 USD/month
Benefits: Flexible remote work in an early-stage, high-ownership environment.
