About the Company:
Our client is an innovative fractional CFO firm helping high-growth companies get tailored financial modeling, reporting, and strategic finance support without rigid templates. The company is building a hybrid, AI-native, human-in-the-loop model that combines finance services with proprietary software tools to help clients get faster insights and better decision-making support.
About the Role:
We’re looking for an FP&A Manager who can own day-to-day financial planning and analysis work across multiple client accounts. You’ll take over modeling, reporting, and client asks from the founder, while also helping build SOPs, improve workflows, and shape product requirements as the business scales. This role requires someone highly self-sufficient, entrepreneurial, and confident operating with minimal handholding.
You Will:
Own financial model updates and keep models current across client accounts.
Manage recurring client requests and eventually act as the main fractional finance counterpart on accounts.
Build and improve workflows, templates, and SOPs to support future scale.
Bring best practices from prior experience instead of acting as a “yes person.”
Help formalize the FP&A function and support onboarding/training as more people join.
Partner on product thinking by helping translate client pain points into finance tool requirements.
About You:
Your Background:
5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or related finance roles.
Strong financial modeling skills and ability to work independently from a blank slate.
Experience managing multiple clients or accounts is a plus, though not mandatory.
Comfortable stepping into a senior-level role with limited oversight.
Strong communication skills and confidence handling client-facing work over time.
Self-sufficient, proactive, and able to make judgment calls without heavy support.
Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in helping build something from the ground up.
Nice to Have:
Experience in BPO, outsourced finance, or multi-client consulting environments.
Startup experience.
Exposure to product thinking or collaborating with technical teams on internal tools.
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation: $3,000–$5,000 USD/month (with possible flexibility for stronger profiles)
Benefits: Flexible remote work in a fast-moving startup environment.
