About the Role
We’re looking for a Jira Administrator who is comfortable doing hands-on admin work and can also think through more custom setup challenges. You’ll own Jira administration tasks, support break-fix work, and help the team maintain and improve how Jira is set up and used. This role requires someone who is practical, reliable, transparent when blocked, and comfortable taking direction while still showing strong problem-solving skills.
Note: This is a remote role, you would be hired as an employee through an EOR.
Key Responsibilities
Own day-to-day Jira administration and configuration work
Handle break-fix tasks and support ongoing Jira setup needs
Troubleshoot custom Jira issues and help find workable solutions
Follow existing processes and directions while executing work accurately
Join team calls to explain options, support discussions, and give visibility into progress
Help improve Jira workflows and configurations based on business needs
Communicate clearly when blocked, raise issues early, and provide reliable follow-through
What We’re Looking For
1+ years of experience in Jira or Atlassian administration if certified, or stronger hands-on experience if not certified
Solid experience owning Jira from an admin perspective in a business environment
Ability to handle both standard admin tasks and more custom configuration challenges
Strong understanding of Jira configuration, workflows, and break-fix support
Excellent communication skills and comfort working with a distributed English-speaking team
Strong ownership and accountability — you follow through and give clear visibility on progress
Comfortable with hands-on execution and do not see admin work as beneath you
Able to take direction, work within existing processes, and stay honest when something is blocked
Nice to Have:
Atlassian certification
Experience in more complex or customized Jira environments
Ability to balance execution with thoughtful input on process and setup decisions
Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a remote environment
Perks – What’s in It for You?

Employment through an EOR following all local law benefits.
Excellent and dynamic work environment
Career development opportunities, including access to Atlassian training and certification support
