About the Company:
Our client is a performance-driven digital marketing agency helping brands grow through thoughtful strategy, standout creative, and data-backed decision-making. They focus on building strong paid media systems, improving campaign performance, and delivering clear business impact for clients.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Media Buyer who can take ownership of multiple client accounts while bringing deep hands-on media buying experience across paid channels. This person will develop, execute, and optimize paid media strategies across Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok. They will initially manage a portfolio of client accounts and be responsible for campaign strategy, execution, testing, optimization, reporting, and performance.
The ideal candidate combines deep platform expertise with strong strategic judgment. They should be equally comfortable developing a full-funnel media plan, troubleshooting a tracking issue, analyzing campaign data, presenting recommendations to a client, and coaching a more junior buyer.
As this person demonstrates their expertise and becomes established within the agency, the role is expected to grow into a media leadership position with responsibility for developing processes, mentoring team members, reviewing account strategy, and helping expand the department.
You Will:
Own the strategy and day-to-day management of paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok.
Develop channel, audience, budget, bidding, testing, and optimization strategies based on each client’s business objectives.
Manage campaigns across the full customer journey, including prospecting, remarketing, lead generation, e-commerce, and customer acquisition.
Build, launch, monitor, and optimize campaigns while maintaining strong quality-control standards.
Analyze performance data to identify trends, diagnose challenges, and uncover opportunities for growth.
Translate campaign data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for clients and internal teams.
Design structured testing roadmaps for audiences, creative, messaging, offers, landing pages, bidding strategies, and campaign structures.
Partner with creative team members to develop performance-informed briefs and recommend new creative concepts.
Manage campaign pacing, budgets, forecasts, and performance against client KPIs.
Oversee ad operations, including platform setup, pixels, conversion events, product feeds, catalogs, UTMs, naming conventions, and quality assurance.
Work with analytics and development partners to troubleshoot tracking and attribution issues.
Prepare client-facing reports and confidently communicate performance, challenges, opportunities, and next steps.
Stay current on platform changes, privacy developments, automation, attribution, AI-powered advertising tools, and paid media best practices.
Help document SOPs and establish scalable campaign-management processes.
Review account performance and provide strategic guidance to other media buyers as the team grows.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to their training and professional development.
Identify opportunities to expand client accounts through new channels, campaigns, or strategic initiatives.
Manage approximately 5 to 8 client accounts.
Work primarily across TikTok and Meta/Instagram, with Google Ads knowledge strongly valued.
About You:
Your Background:
5+ years of hands-on paid media buying experience, preferably across agency and performance marketing environments.
Advanced experience managing campaigns in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and TikTok Ads Manager.
Demonstrated success managing meaningful media budgets and improving metrics such as ROAS, CPA, CPL, conversion rate, and CAC.
Strong knowledge of paid search, paid social, shopping, Performance Max, video, display, prospecting, and remarketing strategies.
Experience managing e-commerce campaigns, with some exposure to lead generation.
Strong understanding of campaign structure, bidding strategies, audience development, creative testing, attribution, and conversion optimization.
Working knowledge of GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, Conversions API, TikTok Pixel, product feeds, and conversion tracking.
Experience developing media plans, forecasts, testing roadmaps, and performance reports.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn campaign data into clear business recommendations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain paid media strategy to clients who may not have deep platform knowledge.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several client accounts, priorities, and deadlines at once.
High attention to detail, particularly when launching campaigns, managing budgets, and reviewing tracking.
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the confidence to challenge assumptions when the data points in a different direction.
Fluent English required; accent is fine as long as communication is clear and effective.
Nice to Have:
Previous experience mentoring, training, or supervising media buyers.
Experience leading client strategy calls and presenting to senior stakeholders.
Experience building paid media processes, documentation, reporting frameworks, or quality-control systems.
