At Near, we connect top talent in Latin America with exciting remote opportunities at U.S.-based companies. Our mission is to create better lives by fostering a remote work culture that transcends borders.
About the Company
Bedrock QoE is an early-stage, CPA-led Quality of Earnings firm serving the search fund, independent sponsor, and lower-middle-market M&A community. We intend to stay small while growing — which only works if the work is automated.
About the Role
We’re looking for an Operations & Automation Manager to take ownership of existing AI agents, internal operations, and demand generation workflows. You’ll manage and improve systems that are already running, help build new agents where needed, and collaborate closely with the CEO and the business owners to take operational work off their plate. This role requires someone who is proactive, comfortable with ambiguity, collaborative, and able to self-manage without heavy day-to-day direction.
What You'll Own
Automation & agents. Operate our existing agents, build new ones for anything that repeats, review their output before it reaches a client, maintain the integrations, and document what you build.
Demand generation. Google Ads, SmartLead cold email, our backlinks vendor, podcast sponsorship, blog and newsletter cadence, social, and marketing collateral.
Pipeline & CRM. Close CRM hygiene, lead scoring, nurture enrollment, and weekly reporting on pipeline and channel performance.
Deals & billing. Deal tracker upkeep, invoicing and receivables follow-up, engagement letters, and running our AI proposal builder.
Client operations. Engagement setup in SharePoint, document request lists, chasing clients until requests are complete, and scheduling.
Inbound. Shared inbox triage, intro calls with inbound prospects, qualifying and handing off to our CEO.
Internal ops. Systems and account administration, vendors and subscriptions, hiring coordination and new hire setup, conference logistics.
Must-Haves
You work through AI agents, not alongside them. You can point to processes you automated and now supervise.
A builder's instinct. Faced with a repetitive task, you design the system that removes it.
The judgment to catch what an agent gets wrong. You notice when output is confident and incorrect.
3+ years at an early-stage company — founder, first employee, or early generalist somewhere under ~20 people.
Owns projects end to end without being managed. You get context and a goal, not a task list.
Hands-on with go-to-market tooling — CRM, cold email, paid ads, CMS. Run by you, not by someone you managed.
Accurate with billing and administration. Invoices and client requests cannot slip.
Strong written and spoken English. You will write client-facing copy and take calls with U.S. business owners.
Genuine interest in M&A and small business.
Claude, Claude Code, or similar agent tooling used in production.
Nice-to-Haves
Zapier, Make, n8n, or light scripting and API work
Exposure to U.S. small business M&A, search funds, or professional services
Close CRM, SmartLead, Google Ads, Canva, SharePoint; SEO familiarity
Invoicing or accounts receivable experience
What Success Looks Like
90 days: you have taken over what is running, automated several things we do by hand, and documented them.
One year: our operational load per deal has fallen while deal volume has grown.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation: $3,500–$4,000 USD/month
Schedule: 9 AM – 6 PM EST
