At Near, we help top talent in Latin America find remote roles with US companies. Our mission is to create better lives by fostering a remote work culture that transcends borders.
Our client is a U.S.-based fractional CFO and business management firm that partners with owner-operated businesses across the United States, primarily in the trades industry (electricians, plumbers, painters, contractors, etc.). They provide strategic financial leadership to help business owners better understand their numbers and make informed business decisions.
Overview

Review monthly financial packages before client delivery.
Lead monthly financial review meetings with business owners.

Build financial models to support business decisions.
Mentor Controllers and review their work.
Translate financial concepts into plain, business-friendly language.
Requirements
5+ years of progressive experience in Finance or Accounting (experience as a Controller, Director of Finance, VP of Finance, or CFO is preferred, but strong Controllers ready to step into a strategic role will also be considered).
Strong financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management experience.
Experience advising business owners or executive leadership teams.
Ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable business recommendations.
Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.
