About the Role:
We’re looking for a WordPress Developer who brings strong custom WordPress development experience and can work confidently in a fast-paced environment. You’ll build and update PHP templates, support WordPress development needs, and create high-quality landing pages and website updates. This role requires someone who is independent, adaptable, technically solid, and comfortable owning work with minimal oversight.
You Will:
- Build and update WordPress PHP templates
- Convert HTML files into PHP page templates
- Handle theme updates and custom WordPress development tasks
- Support landing page requests and broader website development needs
- Work on business/service websites with a focus on custom builds
- Apply development best practices with awareness of SEO and page speed considerations
About You:
Your Background:
- Experience in WordPress development
- Strong PHP skills
- Experience with custom theme development and custom template builds
- Ability to work beyond drag-and-drop builders and handle more customized development work
- Experience working on business or service-based websites
- Comfortable in a remote, English-speaking work environment
- Intermediate English or above
- Self-sufficient, proactive, and able to work independently
- Comfortable in fast-paced settings
- Quick learner with strong practical judgment
Nice to Have:
- Home services industry experience
- ACF Pro experience
- Block editor experience
- SQL experience
- Technical SEO knowledge
- Page speed and testing awareness
