At Near, we help top talent in Latin America find remote roles with US companies. Our mission is to create better lives by fostering a remote work culture that transcends borders.
Our client is a NYC-based financial technology platform serving the private capital markets. Founded in 2009, the company powers a significant share of the U.S. small and mid-sized business M&A market, connecting private equity firms, corporate acquirers, investment banks, and business owners through an online platform built for a fast-moving, trust-driven industry. The team is lean and high-conviction, building category-defining products for a market that rewards precision and speed.
Join our US client as a GTM Engineer, supporting the team that builds the workflows, automations, and internal tools powering the company's go-to-market operations. This is an early-to-mid-career technical operations role for someone who enjoys building, picks up new tools quickly, and is ready to own clearly scoped projects from requirements through rollout.
You'll work closely with the Business Operations Lead, building alongside the team's lead automation builder in n8n, and supporting recurring GTM needs across targeting, enrichment, routing, qualification, and campaign execution. This is a hands-on execution role: you won't be defining strategy, but you'll have direct input into how systems get built, and real room to grow as the function scales.
This is a remote, contractor role. Working hours align with US Eastern time, roughly 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with flexibility of 1-2 hours on days without scheduled meetings.
Build and maintain automation workflows using n8n, Zapier, Clay, and Google Apps Script to support recurring GTM needs.
Configure and troubleshoot integrations across Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, and Gong.
Improve how prospect and member data is captured, structured, enriched, and moved across systems.
Support target account list generation, prioritization, and data enrichment processes.
Monitor existing automations, identify failures or inefficiencies, and resolve issues as they arise.
Use AI-assisted development tools to build workflow enhancements and internal utilities.
Own clearly scoped projects independently, from requirements gathering through implementation, testing, and documentation.
Communicate progress and surface blockers proactively to the Business Operations Lead.
Partner with GTM stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reliable technical solutions.
1-4 years of hands-on experience building workflows or automations in n8n is strongly preferred; familiarity with Zapier, Clay, or Make is a plus.
Working experience with Salesforce (or a comparable CRM) is strongly preferred; comfort with tools like HubSpot, Outreach, or Gong is helpful but not required.
Comfortable working with structured data, APIs, and webhooks; prior exposure to code (any language) is a plus, though this is not a software development role.
Strong attention to data quality and operational accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills — this role requires explaining technical work clearly to US-based, non-technical stakeholders in group settings.
Advanced/fluent English proficiency.
Builder mentality: enjoys experimenting, learns new tools quickly, and ships practical solutions rather than waiting for full direction.
