About Us:
At Near, we help top talent in Latin America find remote roles with US companies. Our mission is to create better lives by fostering a remote work culture that transcends borders.
About Our Client:
Our client is a fast-growing direct mail marketing technology company that helps businesses create, print, mail, and track highly measurable direct mail campaigns. Their platform serves marketers across multiple industries—including eCommerce, healthcare, dental, cannabis, and service businesses—by combining direct mail with modern attribution and analytics. After years of steady growth driven primarily through referrals, they are now investing in building their outbound sales team.
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate qualified sales opportunities through outbound prospecting. This is a true top-of-funnel role where your primary responsibility will be building pipeline and booking qualified meetings for the founders to close.
You'll receive a hands-on two-week onboarding program, working directly alongside the founders to learn the product, ideal customers, messaging, and sales process. After onboarding, you'll be expected to independently manage outbound prospecting while receiving ongoing coaching and support.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a consistent outbound sales pipeline.
- Prospect new business through cold email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and outbound sequences.
- Research target accounts and identify key marketing decision-makers.
- Book qualified meetings for the founders and sales team.
- Personalize outreach to improve engagement and response rates.
- Use CRM and sales engagement tools to manage prospecting activities.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach and pipeline activity.
- Continuously optimize messaging based on feedback and results.
- Work closely with leadership to improve outbound strategy.
- Consistently achieve qualified meeting booking goals.
What We're Looking For:
- 4+ years of experience as a BDR, SDR, or outbound sales professional.
- Proven success booking qualified outbound meetings.
- Experience selling into marketing teams (CMOs, Marketing Directors, Heads of Marketing, Performance Marketing teams, etc.).
- Experience selling advertising, media, marketing services, or similar solutions is highly preferred.
- Print advertising sales experience is a significant plus.
- Strong outbound prospecting skills across email, LinkedIn, and cold calling.
- Experience using HubSpot CRM.
- Experience with outbound tools such as Apollo, Amplemarket, or similar sales engagement platforms.
- Excellent written and spoken English. Candidates may have an accent, but communication must be fluent and professional.
- Highly self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working independently.
- Strong research skills and the ability to quickly understand new products and industries.
- Coachable, proactive, and driven by results.
What Success Looks Like:
- Consistently booking qualified meetings with the right prospects.
- Building a healthy outbound pipeline.
- Becoming fully independent after the initial onboarding period.
- Delivering high-quality opportunities for the founders to close.
Red Flags:
- Candidates who do not research the company or understand the product before interviewing.
- Junior candidates without meaningful outbound prospecting experience.
- Candidates without a proven history of generating qualified meetings.
Tools You'll Use:
- HubSpot
- Apollo
- Amplemarket
- Lightfield (training provided)
