About the Role:
We are looking to bring on an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support Project Managers in the execution and coordination of multiple construction-related projects across clients and vendors.
This role requires someone with hands-on construction experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to operate in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Take detailed meeting notes and track action items across multiple projects
- Support project scheduling and monitor timelines in fast-moving environments
- Assist in order placement and procurement tracking
- Maintain organized project documentation and ensure accurate data reporting
- Collaborate with Financial APM to review spreadsheets and align on project financials
- Communicate confidently with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Participate in client calls and project meetings
- Support project execution with a strong client-facing mindset, anticipating needs and taking initiative
- Support minor renovations, maintenance work, and construction-related project execution
- Read and interpret construction drawings
- Assist in cost plan review and project budgeting
- Support day-to-day execution of construction activities alongside Project Managers
- Prepare presentations and reports for internal and client use
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in project coordination, construction, or construction-adjacent roles
- Experience with procurement, order placement, and tracking
- Familiarity with project scheduling and timelines
- Strong communication skills and client-facing experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, data reporting, and presentation creation
- Ability to multitask and prioritize across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Must-Have Construction Experience
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Hands-on experience in construction, renovations, or maintenance projects
- Experience supporting or executing construction-related projects with involvement in planning, coordination, or delivery
- Experience with construction cost planning and project budget tracking
