Our client is an IT services company in the managed services space, helping businesses through client onboarding, professional services, infrastructure projects, cybersecurity initiatives, and technical migrations. They work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver complex technical projects and drive successful implementations.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Sr. Project Manager to lead client-facing technical projects from initiation through close. This person will own schedules, coordination, communication, and day-to-day project execution across onboarding and professional services work. The role requires someone who is highly organized, strong in core project management fundamentals, comfortable managing multiple moving parts, and confident working directly with both clients and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced MSP environment.
Note: This is a remote, contractor role.
Key Responsibilities:
Own project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and overall execution for assigned projects
Manage client-facing onboarding and professional services projects from kickoff through close
Coordinate stakeholders across clients, internal teams, vendors, and project personnel
Track scope, risks, issues, timelines, and dependencies, and communicate updates clearly
Facilitate meetings, project events, and decision-making processes
Support risk mitigation, contingency planning, and change management efforts
Guide projects through go-live, warranty, and handoff to support teams
Help manage larger multi-project or program-level client initiatives when needed
Partner with internal IT and delivery teams to ensure prioritization and resource alignment
Maintain project documentation, reporting, and administrative follow-through at a high level
Contribute to PMO best practices and support consistent project delivery standards
What We’re Looking For:
4+ years of experience managing IT projects using waterfall, agile, or hybrid methodologies
Strong hands-on experience in waterfall project management; candidates coming only from scrum/agile environments will not be the right fit
Experience managing technical projects in areas such as infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, migrations, or managed services
Strong client-facing communication skills and ability to act as the interface between clients and internal delivery teams
Experience handling project scope, schedules, risks, issues, documentation, and stakeholder communication
Excellent English communication skills in a remote, client-facing environment
MSP experience strongly preferred
PMP or CAPM certification
Experience with ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or related PM tools

Compensation range: $3,200 – $5,000 USD per month.
