Our client is an innovative AI company in the content creation space, helping businesses create AI-generated visual content and grow their digital presence. They operate as a global team and are focused on building high-impact marketing functions across SEO, content, and performance.

About the Role:

We’re looking for an SEO Specialist who combines strong SEO fundamentals with startup grit. You’ll own SEO end to end — from technical audits to content and backlink strategy — and collaborate with the broader marketing team to drive organic growth. This role requires someone who is hands-on, strategic, scrappy, and confident working independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

You Will:

• Own and execute SEO strategy across technical SEO, on-page optimization, backlinking, and landing page copy.

• Conduct keyword research and competitive research to identify growth opportunities.

• Optimize and create landing pages to improve organic performance.

• Use tools like Semrush, Ahrefs, SimilarWeb, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics to monitor and improve results.

• Support backlink acquisition and broader visibility efforts.

• Work closely with the marketing team while owning SEO as a dedicated function.

• Adapt quickly in a startup environment and recommend improvements based on SEO expertise.

About You:

Your Background:

• 2+ years of experience in SEO; 3+ years preferred.

• Strong knowledge of technical SEO, on-page SEO, backlinking, keyword research, and SEO copywriting.

• Comfortable using core SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, SimilarWeb, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.

• Able to work across the full SEO function as a generalist.

• Experience in tech startups is preferred, though candidates from other industries with experience on large-scale websites are welcome.

• Strong communication skills and comfort working in a distributed team.

• Self-motivated, hardworking, and quick to learn.

• Hungry for growth and willing to put in the effort needed to succeed in a startup.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AEO / AI-search optimization tools such as Athena.

• Background at a startup or company where site traffic grew significantly over time.

• Experience supporting SEO for large, high-traffic websites.

• Familiarity with fast-moving, performance-driven marketing teams.
