Compensation: $2,200 USD/month target

About the Company:
Our client is a growing company in the construction and home services space, operating across multiple business units and launching new programs as they expand. They are focused on building efficient operations, supporting customers effectively, and creating long-term growth opportunities across the organization.
About the Role:
We’re looking for an R&D Administrative Assistant to support the launch and execution of new programs and business initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast-changing environments. You’ll help keep new programs running smoothly by supporting scheduling, customer communication, administrative tasks, and operational coordination. This role also requires someone who can learn quickly, stay flexible as programs change, and eventually help train permanent staff as new initiatives transition into long-term operations.
You Will:
Support the launch and implementation of new company programs and initiatives
Conduct customer outreach and maintain communication with program participants
Schedule appointments, meetings, inspections, and other program-related activities
Maintain accurate records and update information in Airtable and other company systems
Assist with billing, invoicing, and general administrative processing
Provide administrative and operational support to programs during their startup phase
Identify and fill operational gaps to help programs stay functional and productive
Assist with documentation, reporting, and process development
Support onboarding and training of new employees as permanent program positions are filled
Serve as a temporary administrative resource until responsibilities are handed off to long-term teams
Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to support company growth initiatives
Communicate clearly with customers by phone, email, and internal systems
About You:
Your Background:
Experience in administrative support, scheduling, customer service, or operations support
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Professional phone communication and customer-facing experience
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
Ability to learn Airtable and other company software platforms quickly
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
High level of professionalism, reliability, and accountability
Adaptability and willingness to work across changing programs and evolving business needs
Comfortable training replacement admins or permanent staff once programs are established
Able to work a schedule that may fluctuate beyond a standard 8–5 when program needs require it
Nice to Have:
Experience with Airtable, CRM systems, or project management tools
Experience supporting startup operations, new business initiatives, or fast-growing organizations
Training or onboarding experience
Experience in construction, home services, or other blue-collar industries
Strong ownership mindset and ability to roll with the punches in changing environments
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation: $2,200 USD/month target, with flexibility to consider stronger candidates above budget if needed
Benefits: PTO in accordance with company policy
Full-time schedule with 40 hours guaranteed
Salary-based role with no overtime compensation
