Our client is a growing commercial real estate investment company focused on warehouse acquisitions. They acquire and evaluate commercial real estate opportunities and work closely with brokers, market participants, and investors to make informed investment decisions. With a lean team and a hands-on environment, they offer the opportunity to work directly with leadership and contribute meaningfully to the company’s growth.
About the Role:
We’re looking for an FP&A Analyst who combines analytical strength with strong communication skills and initiative. You’ll support the evaluation of new investment opportunities, perform underwriting and financial analysis, and help gather market intelligence through direct outreach and research. This role works closely with the owner of the business and requires someone who is proactive, comfortable taking action without heavy oversight, and confident speaking with external stakeholders.
You Will:
- Underwrite and analyze new commercial real estate investment opportunities
- Review, update, and assess deals as they come to market
- Conduct financial analysis to evaluate whether an acquisition has merit
- Perform market research, including outreach to brokers and comparable properties
- Gather rent comps and other relevant market data through phone-based outreach
- Work directly with the hiring manager on active deals and investment analysis
- Support ad hoc finance and analysis work as new priorities arise
About You:
Your Background:
- 2–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, investment analysis, or similar analytical work
- Strong foundation in financial analysis and/or accounting
- Comfortable working with Excel and Google Sheets
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Comfortable in a client-facing or outward-facing role, including phone-based outreach
- Proactive and resourceful — willing to jump in, solve problems, and find information independently
- Confident speaking with people and gathering insights from external sources
- Junior-to-mid-level profile with strong learning potential and openness to training
Nice to Have:
- Experience in real estate, commercial real estate, underwriting, or investment analysis
- Spanish language skills
- Interest in building a career in real estate
- Experience balancing analytical work with external communication or stakeholder interaction
