About the Role:
We’re looking for a Head of Events who combines operational mastery with grit and confidence. You’ll lead and own the broader events function—from initial concept handover through planning, supplier management, budget control, guest/speaker/VIP coordination, on-site delivery, and post-event evaluation. You will collaborate with sales, marketing, brand, creative, and leadership teams to create high-end experiences consistent with the brand. This role requires someone who is proactive, solution-oriented, calm under pressure, takes initiative in the face of ambiguity, and delivers high-quality results even when challenges arise.
You Will:
- Own the full operational plan, timeline, budget, supplier map, run-of-show, and critical path for assigned events from brief to post-event review.
- Source, negotiate with, and manage venues, production partners, hotels, F&B providers, logistics teams, AV crews, photographers, videographers, and talent agencies.
- Prepare and maintain event budgets, track actual costs against approved budgets, and flag budget risks early to ensure strict cost control.
- Coordinate guest, VIP, speaker, and sponsor logistics, including travel arrangements, briefing materials, and premium on-site experience design.
- Lead on-site event delivery globally during live event periods, overseeing setup, rehearsals, guest flows, and troubleshooting operational issues calmly.
- Build reusable event playbooks, checklists, templates, and SOPs to scale and professionalize the event operating model.
- Work closely with brand, creative, sales, and marketing teams to ensure event execution supports commercial objectives, ticket sales, and brand positioning.
About You:
Your Background:
- Around 3 years of experience proving the ability to independently run and manage events end-to-end (from logistics and budgeting to vendor negotiations).
- Willingness to travel internationally for about 6 to 8 trips a year (e.g., Thailand, Dubai, Cancun, South Africa).
- Holds an appropriate passport that allows for easy international travel without restrictive visa processes.
- Proven experience in venue, supplier, contractor, and logistics management for luxury hospitality, high-end experiences, conferences, or brand activations.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure when managing live event complexities.
- Strong taste level and deep understanding of high-end/luxury event expectations.
- Commercially sensible, budget-aware, and comfortable making clear recommendations in ambiguous situations.
