Our client is a growing fintech SaaS company serving financial advisors and RIAs. Their platform helps users understand risk, optimize portfolios, and maintain compliance. They are investing in technical customer experience and reliability to reduce churn and improve product quality.
We’re looking for a Success Engineer who blends technical depth, customer awareness, and urgency. You’ll investigate and resolve bugs, monitor systems proactively, validate releases before they go live, and support smooth implementations. This role sits close to customer outcomes, but according to Akhil it is primarily ticket-based and not client-facing in meetings.
Investigate and resolve bugs across backend and frontend systems.
Monitor dashboards, logs, alerts, and error tracking tools to detect issues proactively.
Validate new releases in staging and production-adjacent environments before customers are impacted.
Support onboarding, implementations, data corrections, and technical issue resolution.
Use SQL, logs, browser debugging, and code analysis to trace issues to root cause.
Communicate resolution details clearly to internal stakeholders.
Contribute to churn reduction by improving reliability, quality, and speed of issue response.
Strong technical foundation in Python/Django, JavaScript/React, and SQL.
Experience investigating bugs, debugging methodically, and working across the full stack.
Experience in support engineering, service engineering, success engineering, or similar roles is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Process-oriented, systematic, proactive, and comfortable working from tickets and operational priorities.
Strong English communication skills.
Experience in a high-growth company is a key requirement. Candidates should come from software product companies that have gone through scaling and growing structure.
SaaS or fintech experience.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Sentry, LogRocket, or similar.
Release validation / QA process experience.
Customer implementation or onboarding experience.
Financial services or wealth management exposure.
