At Near, we connect top talent in Latin America with exciting remote opportunities at U.S.-based companies. Our mission is to create better lives by fostering a remote work culture that transcends borders.
Our client is a fintech company serving financial advisors and wealth management firms with software that supports analytics, compliance, and product innovation. They are growing quickly and expanding engineering capacity to support new features, larger customers, and a more structured development environment.
We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer who can build across backend and frontend with confidence. You’ll work on new feature development across the stack, partnering with product, design, QA, and engineering teams to ship high-quality user experiences and scalable backend systems. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a high-growth product company, is comfortable owning work end to end, and can build quickly without sacrificing quality.
Build end-to-end product features across backend APIs and frontend interfaces.
Develop and maintain backend systems using Django and frontend experiences using React.
Collaborate with design, QA, platform, AI, and product teams to deliver polished features.
Build user interfaces from scratch using design prototypes and standardized components.
Work on mostly new feature development rather than maintenance-heavy work.
Contribute to code reviews, debugging, and quality improvements across the stack.
Help support scalable integrations, APIs, and product workflows in production.
Strong experience with React and Django.
Experience across frontend and backend, ideally in a roughly 50/50 split, though candidates with stronger backend orientation (for example 70/30) are also acceptable.
Solid experience with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST APIs, Git/GitHub, and databases.
Experience working in cross-functional product teams with designers and QA.
Ability to build production software used at meaningful scale.
Comfort with AI-assisted development workflows in a thoughtful, quality-conscious way.
Strong English communication skills.
Experience in a high-growth company is a key requirement. Candidates should come from software product companies that have gone through scaling and growing structure.
AWS, Docker, monitoring tools, and design systems experience.
Experience with Redux or similar state management tooling.
Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack or Babel.
Experience working in teams of roughly 25–30+ people or larger during a period of company growth.
