They offer a centralized platform powered by AI that helps People Teams manage and investigate cases more efficiently. The company is scaling its team and looking for talented professionals to support their expanding customer base. This is a remote, contractor role for a growing company in a dynamic industry.
About the Role
As a Customer Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for guiding new customers through the early stages of their journey with the company. You will oversee onboarding, product training, integration setups, and provide support to ensure the customers have a smooth and successful experience. This role requires excellent project management skills, the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end onboarding for a set of mid-market and enterprise customers.
- Act as a strategic project manager, outlining milestones and tracking progress to ensure timely project delivery.
- Lead onboarding and training calls, ensuring alignment on goals and timelines.
- Configure customer accounts, including platform setup, HRIS, and SSO integrations.
- Manage documentation and project tracking using tools like Dock and Planhat.
- Coordinate with Product and Engineering teams to address bugs, configuration issues, and edge cases.
- Work closely with internal teams such as Legal, Security, and Accounting to resolve any blockers.
- Monitor onboarding health and escalate risks when needed.
- Ensure a smooth handoff to the Customer Success Manager post-launch.
Requirements
Must:
- 2–4 years of experience in customer onboarding, project management, or customer success in a SaaS environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.
- Technical aptitude and ability to learn product configurations and integrations.
- Advanced English, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Nice to have:
- Experience with onboarding tools or platforms such as HRIS (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, ADP) and SSO integrations (e.g., Okta).
- Experience with tools like Planhat, Loom, Notion, and Google Calendar.
- Knowledge of SaaS product implementations and integrations.
- Familiarity with customer success metrics and KPIs.
Benefits & Work Mode
- Salary based on seniority: $2,300–$3,500/month.
- 100% remote position as a contractor.
- 10 days of PTO plus U.S. holidays.
- Working hours, U.S. Pacific Time (from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. PT), with additional flexibility outside of these hours (total 40 hs per week)
