About the Company:
Our client is a boutique vacation rental management company in the U.S., helping homeowners maximize the performance of their short-term rental properties. They are focused on growing their client base and are looking for someone who can directly support that growth through outbound sales and prospecting.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) who is confident on the phone, highly autonomous, and experienced in outbound sales. You’ll be responsible for generating top-of-funnel pipeline by identifying, sourcing, and contacting potential homeowner clients. This role is ideal for someone who already understands how to prospect effectively, does not require heavy training, and can operate independently in a small, fast-moving environment.
You Will:
- Prospect and source your own leads instead of working from pre-built lists
- Perform high-volume outbound cold calling to generate warm leads
- Build top-of-funnel pipeline for the business
- Reach and engage homeowner prospects in a B2C sales environment
- Qualify potential clients and move them close to sign-up
- Use tools and research methods to identify contact details and outreach opportunities
- Work directly with the founder to support client acquisition goals
- Operate with high ownership in a brand new role with minimal structure
About You:
Your Background:
- 4+ years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or lead generation
- Strong B2C cold calling experience
- Proven ability to self-source leads and build pipeline independently
- Experience in the vacation rental industry or a closely related space is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success in phone-based sales environments with measurable outcomes
- Comfortable working with minimal training and little day-to-day oversight
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with prospects
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and building process as you go
Nice to Have:
- Experience selling to homeowners or individual consumers
- Experience in property management, vacation rentals, real estate, or adjacent industries
- Familiarity with GoHighLevel or similar CRMs
- Track record of helping grow a client portfolio or book of business
- Closing experience is a plus, though lead generation is the main priority
