Senior Executive Assistant
Remote (Latin America- or South Africa-based preferred)
Compensation: $2,500–$3,500 USD/month
Full-time, 40 hours/week, Contractor. Must provide coverage through 6:00 PM EST.

Our client is an independent investment platform operating within the family office ecosystem, focused on entrepreneurship through acquisition via the search fund model. They work similarly to a private equity or venture capital fund, backing entrepreneurs who acquire and grow lower middle-market businesses. The firm operates as a lean, fast-paced, entrepreneurial team with global exposure across sectors, geographies, and investment strategies. About the Role:
We’re looking for an Executive Assistant (Strategic Operations) to serve as a strategic partner to the Founder and Managing Partner. You’ll take ownership of calendar management, inbox prioritization, travel coordination, and event coordination so leadership can stay focused on deals and high-value opportunities. This role requires someone highly proactive, organized, and confident operating in a fast-moving environment with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and a high volume of activity.
You Will:
Own complex calendar and diary management across multiple time zones
Manage and triage executive inboxes, prioritizing urgent matters and filtering lower-priority items
Coordinate international travel logistics, itineraries, and related expenses
Plan and execute company events, investor cocktail events, happy hours, off-sites, and similar in-person gatherings
Handle event coordination end-to-end when given a budget, location, and rough invite list or agenda
Support workflow prioritization and day-to-day executive operations
Help manage CRM systems and keep deal-related information organized and up to date
Assist with meeting briefs, presentation materials, NDAs, and other light deal-support tasks
Act as a gatekeeper and strategic support partner to ensure leadership time is used effectively
Communicate professionally with investors, clients, and internal stakeholders across global markets
About You:
Your Background:
4+ years of experience in Executive Assistant or high-level executive support roles
Extensive experience supporting C-suite leaders, founders, or managing partners
Prior experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or another high-deal-volume corporate finance environment
Strong background in calendar management, inbox management, travel planning, and executive support
Past experience planning and coordinating events such as investor events, company happy hours, cocktail events, off-sites, or similar professional gatherings
Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume environments with shifting priorities
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Comfortable working in a distributed, English-speaking environment
Able to make sound decisions independently and proactively manage priorities
Stable career history with strong tenure and evidence of long-term commitment
Comfortable operating in entrepreneurial environments without rigid structure
Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized
Strong judgment and ability to prioritize independently
Adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity
Reliable, responsive, and able to stay calm under pressure
Professional in client-facing and investor-facing communication
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with investment processes, deal flow, and financial terminology
Experience preparing meeting briefs, presentations, or investment-related materials
Familiarity with regulatory documentation or exchange-listing related processes
Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
Exposure to international stakeholders and global scheduling/logistics
