About the Role
Join our client as a Senior UX/UI Designer and play a key role in designing high-converting ecommerce experiences for a variety of consumer brands. This is a highly hands-on position for someone who thrives at the intersection of UX, UI, branding, and ecommerce design.
You will work closely with founders, developers, and cross-functional stakeholders to create responsive ecommerce experiences, design systems, and brand assets that are both visually compelling and conversion-focused. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning projects end-to-end, has a strong eye for design, and is comfortable balancing creative work with production and implementation details.
Note: This is a remote, contractor role.
Key Responsibilities
Design responsive ecommerce experiences, including landing pages, collection pages, product pages, and conversion-focused user flows.
Create and maintain scalable design systems, components, variables, and design standards in Figma.
Develop high-fidelity UI designs that align with brand guidelines and business objectives.
Collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
Review and perform visual QA on live builds to ensure consistency across desktop and mobile devices.
Create design assets, imagery, icons, and supporting visual elements for ecommerce experiences.
Adapt and extend existing brand identities while maintaining a high level of visual quality and consistency.
Optimize user experiences across desktop and mobile environments.
Prepare organized design files and documentation for seamless developer handoff.
Contribute to brand exploration and visual direction for new and existing client projects.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of experience in UX/UI Design, Ecommerce Design, Web Design, or a related field.
Strong experience designing ecommerce websites and customer journeys.
Advanced proficiency in Figma, including design systems, components, variables, and design tokens.
Experience creating responsive designs across desktop and mobile devices.
Strong visual design and branding skills with a keen eye for typography, layout, hierarchy, and detail.
Experience collaborating with developers and preparing organized handoff documentation.
Understanding of UX principles and conversion-focused design best practices.
Ability to manage projects independently and work autonomously in a remote environment.
Experience working with Shopify or other ecommerce platforms is a plus.
Portfolio showcasing ecommerce, UX/UI, branding, and responsive design work.
Professional English communication skills.

Compensation range: $4,000 – $5,000 USD per month.
