At Near
At Near, we connect top talent in Latin America with exciting remote opportunities at U.S.-based companies. Our mission is to create better lives by fostering a remote work culture that transcends borders.
About the Company:
Our client is an innovative company in the premium photography gear and travel accessories sector, helping photographers through high-performance camera bags and accessories designed for demanding terrain. They work as a global team to create meaningful impact. With innovation and collaboration at their core, they are transforming how creators carry and protect their equipment and building brighter futures for photographers and travelers worldwide.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager who combines technical mastery with grit and confidence. You’ll own and grow the brand across every channel, building community, running the digital marketing engine, and turning product releases into moments customers anticipate. You'll collaborate with leadership, channel owners, and external partners to create a cohesive omnichannel strategy. This role requires someone who is self-directed, comfortable owning outcomes in a small, fast-moving team, and takes initiative to turn products and stories into a global community.
You Will:
Build and nurture an engaged community of photographers and travelers across social, email, and owned channels while leading brand awareness initiatives.
Own digital marketing across paid, organic, email/lifecycle, SEO, and content, with clear accountability for growth metrics.
Establish, scale, and continuously optimize paid acquisition across Google and Meta platforms from the ground up, maintaining deep, hands-on expertise over campaign architecture, audience segmentation, and tracking frameworks.
Plan and execute product launch campaigns from teaser through post-launch, coordinating across creative, web, retail, and B2B channels.
Set up and maintain accurate tracking, attribution, and conversion measurement, driving ongoing optimization of ROAS, CAC, and blended efficiency through rigorous A/B testing.
Improve and streamline marketing workflows using AI tools for content creation, campaign briefs, analysis, reporting, and asset design (utilizing tools like Claude Design).
About You:
Your Background:
6–10 years of experience in marketing, including significant time growing an early-stage DTC and B2B brand.
Deep knowledge of omnichannel marketing spanning paid, organic, lifecycle, and retail/B2B channels across Asia, North America, and Europe.
Demonstrated, hands-on success establishing and optimizing digital advertising on Google and Meta platforms, with a clear track record of improving ROAS and lowering CAC.
Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, analytics, and setting up accurate tracking (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel/Conversions API, server-side tracking).
Excellent communication skills — fluent written and spoken English, comfortable in a distributed, English-speaking environment.
Self-directed, proactive, and emotionally mature — you are comfortable owning outcomes in a small, fast-moving team.
A genuine background in photography and travel — you are or were a photographer and understand the customer base from the inside.
Nice to Have:
Experience improving marketing processes with AI, including AI-powered design and creative tools such as Claude Design.
Experience managing budgets, forecasting spend, and reporting clearly on performance and learnings in a lean team environment.
Excellent visual sensibility and storytelling ability paired with a passion for the outdoors.
