About the Company:
Our client is an early-stage consumer brand in the mushroom wellness space, operating across retail and DTC. They are building their operations function as they scale and are looking for someone who can grow with the company. With a small, collaborative team and a fast-moving environment, they are focused on building strong internal processes, improving inventory visibility, and supporting continued growth.
About the Role:
We’re looking for an Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day execution of supply chain and operational workflows. You’ll take ownership of inventory tracking, purchase order coordination, and ERP-related processes while working closely with the Head of Operations. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving systems and processes.
You Will:
Track inventory levels across multiple 3PL warehouses and supplier / ingredient warehouses
Monitor inventory against open orders and flag reorder needs or inventory shortages
Support purchase order management and help ensure orders are placed accurately and on time
Manage manual retail and wholesale order entry from third-party systems into the ERP
Maintain accurate operational data and support ERP system buildout and cleanup
Build and maintain tracking tools related to inventory, orders, shipment status, and operational reporting
Document repeatable workflows and SOPs as internal processes are developed
Coordinate with internal stakeholders across operations, sales, finance, marketing, and product as needed
Serve as a reliable operational support partner to the Head of Operations
Grow into greater ownership over time, with a path toward a manager or senior manager role
About You:
Your Background:
2–3 years of experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, or a coordination role
Experience with inventory management and purchase order workflows
Familiarity with ERP systems and understanding of how inventory and purchase orders move through those systems
Comfortable working with spreadsheets, ecommerce tools, inventory systems, and 3PL portals
Strong attention to detail and ability to keep multiple moving pieces organized
Clear communicator who can coordinate effectively with vendors and internal teams
Able to work independently with minimal oversight while staying highly accountable
Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable in a startup environment with ambiguity
Strong cultural fit and willingness to learn are highly valued; candidates who are slightly below or above the target experience range may still be considered
Nice to Have:
Experience in CPG, food and beverage, DTC, or logistics / distribution environments
Familiarity with Shopify
Experience with Cin7, NetSuite, or another lightweight ERP
Exposure to wholesale / retail distribution workflows
Experience with EDI or retailer portal systems
Experience in a regulated product category
Interest in growing into a people leadership or management role over time
