About the Company:

Our client is a company in the financial services space. They are growing through acquisitions and expanding their tax services operations, which has created the need for additional accounting support. Their team works collaboratively across functions, with part of the team based on the West Coast and core collaboration aligned around Central Time.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Staff Accountant to support AR, revenue reconciliation, and tax-related accounting work. This role will initially be focused on reconciling billing activity to the general ledger and supporting the growing tax services side of the business. Over time, the person may assist with additional accounting responsibilities as needed. This role requires someone flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an evolving environment with strong cross-functional support from the accounting team.

You Will:

• Support accounts receivable and revenue reconciliation activities

• Reconcile billing activity to the general ledger

• Assist with tax-related accounting work tied to the company’s growing tax services operations

• Work closely with senior accountants and the broader accounting leadership team

• Support additional accounting tasks as the role evolves

• Use Excel and accounting systems to manage and organize financial information accurately

About You:

Your Background:

• 3+ years of accounting experience in similar roles

• Strong experience with accounts receivable

• Solid understanding of US GAAP

• Strong Excel skills

• Experience using accounting systems

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• Comfortable working remotely with a U.S.-based team

• Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to support evolving responsibilities

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a structured, consistent way

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Sage Intacct

• Experience with QuickBooks or SAP

• Financial services experience

• Experience in revenue-related accounting environments
