We’re hiring a Full Stack Product Engineer on behalf of our client, a fast-growing gaming marketplace that connects players with teammates, coaches, and rank-boosting services for competitive online games. The company operates within the gaming and esports services industry.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who combines technical mastery with grit and confidence. You’ll take complete ownership of features from initial idea all the way to production and collaborate directly with a lean, 3-person engineering team and a designer to create high-impact product deliverables. This role requires someone who is deeply product-minded, takes extreme initiative in a fast-moving environment, and is excited to adapt and grow alongside evolving AI and development technologies.
You Will:
Lead the development of full-stack features end-to-end, managing everything from backend logic to frontend UI components.
Take prototypes developed by non-technical team members in Lovable and translate/migrate them into the production codebase.
Architect and build scalable, performant systems within a Nest.js and Next.js monorepo setup.
Work closely with the engineering team to share in infrastructure tasks, CI/CD pipeline management, and maintaining code quality.
Stay at the forefront of AI-assisted engineering, proactively testing and integrating tools like Cloud Code, Codex, or Copilot into your day-to-day workflow.
Collaborate asynchronously with minimal call overhead, communicating clearly and effectively via text-based platforms.
About You:
Your Background:
Strong professional experience as a Full-Stack Engineer, specifically working in fast-paced, early-stage startup environments.
Deep, hands-on production expertise with Node.js (specifically Nest.js) and React (specifically Next.js).
Strong command of relational databases, with concrete experience using PostgreSQL.
Solid technical taste and structural awareness, with an emphasis on balancing architecture quality and delivery volume (roughly 40% backend and 60% frontend focus).
Tech-forward mindset with active experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cloud Code, Codex, Copilot) to optimize your workflow.
Excellent written English skills, completely comfortable operating in a distributed, text-heavy environment.
Highly autonomous, self-motivated, and proactive — you thrive when given a project and the freedom to figure out how to finish it independently.
Nice to Have:
Prior experience or familiarity with React Native and Expo, as a mobile app kickoff is planned for the near future.
Hands-on experience working within the AWS ecosystem.
A personal interest or background in gaming, making it easy to seamlessly align on industry concepts and terminology.
Experience building, maintaining, or consuming features from low-code/AI-generation prototyping platforms.
